Wanna go to Heaven? Jesus Christ is the Door, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Ask Jesus to take you to Heaven when you die. Ask Jesus Christ to wash away all of your sins. If you have done this then I'll see all of you in Heaven!
I hardly believe Jesus will just wash away your sins. You must have to work for salvation if you have sinned, or there's no point in not sinning if you feel like it.

Well, the Bible states that we are saved by GRACE (i.e. undeserved, unmerited, unearned favor) NOT BY WORKS.
Salvation is a GIFT. It is not something that you can WORK for. It must simply be received--by faith of course.

Hitler preached Christianity, believed genuinely, while working his magic. When he asked Jesus to let him in, you think Jesus opened the door and showed him the food court?

But...do you see that salvation in Jesus Christ cannot be earned? It is a free gift from Him to you. It cost you nothing, but Him everything.

I do not know. For all I know Hitler may have repented for his sins and asked Jesus Christ (God) to forgive him. Again, I am not God so I don't presume to say where Hitler chose to spend eternity.

More importantly though I hope I was able to provide clarity on the matter of salvation not being an issue of human effort. But rather salvation is more what Jesus Christ did for humanity than of what we could do for ourselves.

You provided no clarity at all.
Hitler preached Christianty. He was a man of God. So obviously he desired Heaven. Should I die and ask Jesus for forgiveness, do I run the risk of sharing room with Hitler?

Do you understand that salvation is not a matter of works i.e. human effort?
Do you understand that you are not giving me an answer?
Is there a possibility that Hitler is in Heaven, because he believed in God? Is it within the realm of reason, for a Christian with those sins of his on his belt, to get into Heaven?
Yes, or no. Answer me that, and I will see everything clearer than you can ever explain in words.

That is not an answer. That is a digression and an elaboration on what Heaven is.
Yes, or no. Is it within the realm of possiblity that Hitler is in Heaven? He was Christian. He commited sin. Is it possible that he was approachede by Jesus, that he asked for forgiveness and was let in?
Neither of those videos answer that simple question. A brief two or three letter word by you does, though.

Just "believing in God" is not sufficient for a person to be saved from his/her sins.
We must believe on (i.e. put full trust in) the Lord Jesus Christ (i.e. the Savior of the world). We must completely rely on the work that HE did for us on the cross, not on our OWN good deeds or human effort in order to be saved and go to Heaven.
Now, if Hitler did this before dying then he may be in Heaven. But, again, only God truly weighs and knows the heart. Only God knows whether a person is truly repentant and sincere or just playing games.
There is only one sin that cannot be forgiven, either in this life or in the life to come: the sin of REJECTING Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life.

So Hitler, genuine in his faith as he is believed to have been, is possibly in Heaven. I think I will aim for Hell, then. I am dying to see who is down there.
God demonstrated How longsuffering He is when He forgave the Apostle Paul. Paul personally oversaw the murder of a number of Christians. Jesus Christ not only forgave this man but called him into the ministry. Jesus Christ permitted Paul to be one of His chief Apostles to the non-Jewish/Israelite community, and to preach the gospel to them. Paul was perhaps so honored and humbled by Christ's love and mercy that it galvanized him into one of the most prominent Christians of all time. Paul states in his letter to Timothy,
1 Timothy 1:16
However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
Paul was so overcome by God's mercy that he wanted the world to know about it. His outlook was simple: if God can forgive me, He can forgive ANYBODY. God permitted the Apostle Paul to write two-thirds of the New Testament.
God truly is merciful!
