Yeah. Bakura is such a wimp. Have you seen the battle between Yami bakura and Yami Yugi in the finals of the Battle City? His Spirit Deck combo has flaws.

BTW, for me, the best duel is the final duel between Yugi and the Pharaoh.
Do you agree?

Have you seen the end of Yu-Gi-Oh? Bakura was pulling all of the strings and manipulated them from the very start. Bakura was the baddest and his Spirit wasn't his strongest deck. Bakura is also the only guy to laugh off getting sent to the Shadow Realm.

Sounded British. Erm, Bakura was Ted Lewis, both of them I believe.
The voice he used for Yami Bakura was awesome. On par with Eric Stuart's voice for Kaiba, if not better imo.
Didn't know Yami Bakura and Bakura was the same voice. Though I guess..Yugi was the same voice as Yami so it makes sense. I was always amused at the fact Dan Green did both Yugi and Yami.

Those three are really the only good voices in the show. Besides Pegasus. I think Pegasus had a good VA. Then Bakura has to go and kill him.

@captzero - I think Yugi vs Kaiba during the end of Battle City was the best duel. To bad Kaiba is just destined to loose every battle against Yugi.

Agreed on the win/lose ratio about Yugi and Kaiba. I don't recall Bakura kiling Pegasus though. HE only took the Eye.

I'm almost positve it mentions Pegasus' death in the manga when that happens. They had a battle of items coming out with just a lost eye doesn't seem to fit Bakura's style anyway. Not sure if the series ever says anything about it..The America version doesn't I know. Course the series has like a million filler arcs, and still doesn't show Pegasus except in the movie even though they go to his place in Waking The Dragons I believe..or to his office in the main building of his company.

I want to read the Yugioh R manga with Pegasus' son or whatever he is.

He probably did die in the Manga, that was so much more brutal than the anime. I was talking about the anime though American. They showed his men carrying him out after they found him without the eye but not in the way you carry a dead person but that was the kids american version so there is a chance I am wrong.

Hehe, yeah, normal Bakura (not Thief King, or Yami) is, but he's a hoot in the Abridged series 🙂

Ermm, I'm torn between Joey & Marik, Kaiba & Yugi (Battle City) Yami Bakura & Yami Yugi (since that's where he summons Slifer for the first time) & Yugi & Yami.
Those are the best duels in the series. Haven't watched the Waking the Dragons (Filler) arc though, just the final duel. That was pretty good as well.

Thief King iirc.
Still Bakura was the best villain, hands down. Pegasus brought himself down with the TV duel, and Yami Marik talked too much.

Yeah, at first I couldn't believe it either. Though the 4 Kids actors do a variety of voices.

I wish for once the archrival or main rival in Manjoume's case (I consider him Judai's main rival) would win fairly against the protagonist, in a complete duel that we are able to see.
Though Manjoume did win against Judai in the manga (Kick a** of a battle to boot)

In all fairness, you should have watched the Jap version as well. 4 kids really toned down the series. Including reducing Mai's cup size iirc 😛

All this talk about Pegasus, Marik, and Bakura/Yami Bakura.. but no Dartz? =(

orite A filler saga.
Still, he was cool too, as was Rafael, who actually beat the Pharoah. haha

Meh, Dartz was alright, though the Turquoise hair did throw me off somewhat when I saw the battle.

Pity that battle never happened in the manga, canonically, it's only Yugi that has beaten the Pharaoh.
The Pharaoh was also under the influence of the Orichalchos in that battle right?
That Guardian Eatos also did have that broken effect when combined with its sword.

Well Dartz was better than Marik...That's really all I have to say lol. Not a big fan of waking the Dragons though it was nice to see Yami loose a duel and fairly for the most part against Rafael.

Yeah, that's right. ^^

Indeed. ^^ Rafael was one of my favorite characters for the most part too (not just because he beat the Pharoah). Makes me think how equally awesome it would've been if he dueled Kaiba 😄, before the whole Dartz battle.

And I still remember when the Great Leviathan and the three Egyptian Gods clashed at the end. That was.. epic.

Dartz was a fake Pegasus imo but yeah better than Marik. He talked way too much and had way too many veins popping out. Odion was cool though and Rafael was bad ass, huge, strong and loyal to his childhood cards.

dartz had the cheapest deck by a long shot.

i remember facepalm'ing every time his final monster special summoned a new literally infinitely cheaper monster.

Yeah, gotta admire that in a duelist. He's probably my favorite character in the series partly because of that, if anything. I disagree though about Dartz being a fake Pegasus. They're nothing alike, except maybe the long hair.
Now Sigfreid (or however you spell his name from that other filler saga, with the pink hair) was a fake Pegasus. 😛

Aside from that, I also kinda liked Gozaburo Kaiba as a villain, if you can call him that (Exodia Necross was pretty sweet). Made me like Seto a little more with how he put up with/grew up with him as long as he did. It's no wonder how he became as cold/arrogant as he did (except when it came to Mokuba of course). Was disappointed though when I found out it wasn't really Gozaburo who took Allister's family and destroyed his home town, just Dartz disguised as him..

Yeah, and don't forget his 2nd and 3rd layer to the Seal of Orichalcos. 😐

Or the most dangerous 😐...and it had to be powerful, how else would he have dueled both Seto and Yugi/Yami at the same time and held his own?

Noah Kaiba was a better antagonist imo, misguided, but a heck of a lot more better. His duel against Seto/Yami was great.

Hmm I may have to watch all of Waking the Dragons. After all I watched Grand Championship or whatever that filler arc is called with Siegfried (sp?) and that was a horrible arc imo. Waking the Dragons wasn't that bad just the times changed and it came on when I had to be doing something else every saturday morning.

Eh.. not really, because of the fact he had to use Mokuba as a shield to keep Seto from wiping out the rest of his life points, and then turned them both to stone. 😐 Were it not for that, Yami Yugi wouldn't of even needed to duel him.
Ultimately, Noah was just another pawn in Gozaburo's plan anyway, like the Big 5 were.

Yeah. Waking the Dragons is definitely worth seeing in its entirety IMO, unlike Grand Championship which I never saw all of because of how terrible it was.. and because of time change as well. For me anyway.

I was always amused at how Yami was able to beat Noah with a large handicap. Though Yami using Blue Eyes was just wrong.

Yea the last ep of Waking the Dragons I seen was like the ep after Yugi's soul is taken. So I didn't get far.

Agreed. Either way though, I guess that's why they call him the king of games. 😛

So does that mean he'll never lose a game of soggy biscuit?

Twas my opinion 😐 I can see yours is different.
