Oh and you the high and mighty always do. You're debate is a joke, you're using this universal truth bollocks, because you know that there is no other way you can can back your foolish and insane argument.

Never said I can recognize universal truths.

And my argument is based on the universal truth that I believe exists of what is good and bad music. That's why I use universal truths.

I think I'll leave now.

Too many rude, immature and whiny folks about that are just unnaccepting of other people's opinions.

Shame.

I know that by giving these short replies you attempt to appear as though everything I say is so irrelevant that you will not even bother giving a detailed response but in reality it just looks like you are accepting you were wrong all along. So unless you are willing to give detailed responses to my posts just refrain from answering my posts altogether.

If I am rude, immature and whiny then prove me wrong, please, prove me wrong. It's an amusing game we are playing.

Do you not understand that you believe it exists based on nothing besides "Oh, I want to believe that."? Then you are applying it by telling OTHER PEOPLE they listen to factually bad or good music.

You don't have that right. Especially when a universal truth that DOES exist, not "I think...", but does, says that taste is subjective. As is quality of music. Quality exists, but the extent of that quality is subjective.

You believe a universal truth exists, yet the very fact that we can deny your claims proves it doesn't. Fact is truth.

If you can't recognize them, don't use them as your evidence.

Bit unrealistic.

I live on Earth.

'You don't'.

I didn't mean literally use text or words to say "You don't.". I meant have backing. Not the LITERAL ability to say the words.

But you knew this.

Thing is, nobody can prove that quality in music is subjective...as much as I can't prove it isn't. It comes down to what you believe is the case about good and bad music. Facts can't always prove the truth.

Funny how all anyone has done here is try and pretend that what they believe in is the truth, and that what I believe in isn't...simply becasue they don't like what I believe in, and think that for some reason it's not alright to think how I do (but it is alright to think how they do) when really, it all comes down to a fundamental disagreement about truth.

...oh, and the obvious has been stated about something that doesn't even appply to the argument. TASTE is subjective.

Oh thanks. All that means is now I know I'm right when I say I like Mozart!

No, nobody can convince YOU that music quality is subjective because you're an ignorant fool who refuses to admit he is wrong now that he has come this far with the belief.

No matter how much you are proven wrong, nobody can force you to admit that, just prove it.

I have no problem with you believing something I don't like if it's a subjective argument, it's not though. You are factually wrong, but you won't admit it, and you think that by continuing to IGNORE fact, you are refuting fact, and thus proving it to not be true. That's not the case.

-AC

I'm not factually wrong, because there are no facts you can provide to prove I'm wrong.

As much as you're gonna try to scream at the top of your lungs that there's facts you can apply to this argument, you won't be able to find facts to prove your point, cause there are none.

Accept it.

Just like you can't prove that the pop artists I've mentioned are crap. I say they're not.

Your opinion: "Informed opinions are more credible.".

My reply: "Fine, nobody is denying that. They are still opinions.".

Your opinion: "Truth is apart from fact.".

My reply: I give you the definition that says fact is truth, reality.

Your reply? Akon lyrics and "I THINK truth is apart from fact.". It's not, though.

I've provided facts that prove my point, you ignore them, you don't refute them, you ignore them.

I say they are. Neither of us can prove it, because it's subjective.

I don't care what your dictionary says.

Truth exists apart from proven facts.

I know you calim I can't think that, but I do.

Kill me.

...and smack that!

Hahaha, "I don't care about facts, they cloud my blind judgement.".

You can think it, it's just wrong.

Something out of a dictionary isn't a fact.

And what I think isn't wrong.

Truth exists apart from proven facts. If anything is a fact here...that is.

...smack that!

It's a fact that the word fact means truth, reality, certainty. Music being good or bad is not truth, fact or objective.

It's subjective, opinion, personal.

You don't get it.

...smack that!
