I think it's a nice ideal, but lets face it there's more guns than people in the U.S, it would be impossible to abolish them, loads would still be floating around. Gun control should be enforced, however this also has problems. For instance it was the Columbine students first crimes and I'd put money on it being this man's first as well.

But we can make it harder for them to get access. Right now its so easy for them it's a joke. Also we need to ban Gun manufacturing.

To think, US customs were going to ban a Transformers reissue toy because it transforms into a life-sized toy gun, but have now "settled" for opening the packaging and editing it.

Yet, you can buy an ACTUAL gun for less, in any common store.

yes it is. i doubt anyone will argue that.
however guns are not the cause of this. isolationist and paranoid mentallity is a significant part of the cause. not guns.

1) Their paranoia doesn't justify Guns.

2) Maybe if they didn't go around making everyone hate them, it wouldn't be an issue.

i never said it justified them. stop adding meaning to my words, its really annoying.

it will accelerate the problem when federal officers go to seize their firearms and they dont give them up. situations like that will certainly occur. its like beating a wasps nest and i dont want to see it.

i wouldnt mind seeing gun laws/bans determined on a state level. wouldnt support it, but wouldnt mind if it was passed. just dont try to take them federally. thats dumb as hell imho

People here will never give up their guns, it's part of the history. Many people are hunters and collectors. Many are in the secret militia.

First, I will be Praying for all those murdered and injured from this tragedy. Those of you who aren't of Faith should send out your thoughts to those people. I believe all of us should keep on tract and blame the lunatic responsible.
