OMG....In some places you do, okay? Everything isn't "okay-dokey" in some places of the world; ie, outside your little "lala" land.

Yes and the fact that those place where you don't need one also happens to be the places where they are outlawed alltogether proves my point.

You don't need a gun to defend yourself. we've been over this already.

You also don't need to drink vodka or smoke a cigarette. What's your point?

My point is that the right to bear arms is for the purpose of defence and if you don;t need them for defence there is no purpose in having them around. And don't bring smoking into this. You really love the idea of people finding ways to kill themselves and others don't you?

Really, which places have no crime?

BS. Man, you just throw out baseless facts, with a mixture of over-generalizations to make your point.

Eclipso, you're out of your league with Rob, just give up 😬

The GDF requires a lot more than the OTF when it comes to discussion

I never said they had no crime, but far far less then the US or Canada.

Brendan, no one asked for your help in this.

Here's a random thought: How do guns get in those neighborhoods where you might say a gun is a necessity for protection?

Ok, dude - it's officially time for proof. I want the same stat sheet you are looking @.

Sure there is, home defense from criminals, hunting, sport shooting, collection/hobby.

Why not? smoking kills a lot of people, more than guns do and smoking is legal... in fact, in your beloved Europe where they have stricter gun laws smoking is more rampant than in the U.S. and there's less laws prohibiting tobacco company and their use of adds.

Huh? What does guns and smoking have anything to do with me and loving "the idea of people finding ways to kill themselves and others"? Care to point out where I said any such thing with a quote or was that just another mindless rant?

I am going to repeat. You are not allowed to call me by my name. I am reporting this, because you blatantly disobeyed my express wishes. This is not about it being a public forum, this is about privacy. And you are violating mine. Reported.

They are not needed for protection if they are outlawed altogether, we;ve been over this many many times now, try to keep up.

You came in here and got involved and It's not against the rules for me to call you by your name.

Smoking should also be outlawed, along with hunting. And we've already been over the defence issue many times.

First, you keep missing my freaking point.

Second, you said the criminal needs a gun for me to protect myself from him?

If I can not defend myself against a man twice my size I might feel the need to get a gun. If I know martial arts though and defend myself, I might be defined as a "lethal weapon" during a trail. It's all screwy.

I got involved because you are completely in the wrong. Guns do not cause violent crimes, they are a tool used by violent people. Getting rid of guns entirely will not solve any problems.

And while you are not breaking any rules, it is a matter of privacy, and I only allow my friends to call me by my name. I have asked you many times not to and if you had any sense of decency you would cease and desist immediately.

I hate to brake it to you but I never once said the underlined part. And yet again, people in other parts of the world find ways to protect themselves without the need of a gun.

It's not braking any rule of KMC to call someone by their name. What you personally allow is not rule of law on here.
