It's probably the most convenient way.

Frankly someone named Bill Bob HeeHaw having an arsenal in his house concerns me.

Yea, I'd have to agree. As noted, people that want a gun to specifically commit crimes tend to get them regardless of laws.

Only if he intends on killing people or committing crimes, otherwise, who cares.

That's terribly satrical and unfair without context. If you do not know the details of how this things came to be, then you are without a valid point.

It is the fault of the government that things got as they are. The tops are profiting. That's the sad truth of it.

It's also the fault of your cutlure and societal obbesession with killing.

Also if you stopped not only the sale of guns but the manufacturing of Gun's it would help.

You don't know that for sure, the detials are still sketchy at this time. Watch "bowling for columbine", they spell it out pretty clearly. The onyl reason to have a Gun is to kill. I personaly am not a killer.

Michael Moore is a pointless fat-ass with a biased agenda. No, that is not the only reason and that's funny coming from you since you're Canadian right? Canada has MANY guns as hunting is rampant up north.

Good for you, don't own a gun then, it's your choice.

I have a phobia of country folk ever since Deliverance.

Do you expect every country in the world to just stop making guns and we'll all hold hands and be happy together?

Yes and we still don't have the Gun violence rate you do. You wanna have your killing toys? I can't stop you. but maybe someday if someone you cared about was shot you'd feel different.

The fact is Europe gets along just fine without the right to shoot people.

Yes, the same way kenjutsu can only be described as a technique for killing (with swords). One is not supposed to just misuse their skills to kill anyone. Kenjutsu was taught to protect others who could not protect themselves. Guns can kill, but guns can also scare away someone or simply injures. Knives can kill. Unstable stairway rails can kill. Cars can kill.

You can kill with damn near anything. That's not a good argument.

So do you think cops should not have guns?

Of course, they reply with "criminals will still find a way to shoot someone".

xmarksthespot, I called it. I mean I totally called it. I want a cookie.

Oh shut up already if you're not going to make a point. If Canada has tons of guns yet the "super high death murder kill rate" you rant on and on about in America isn't a problem in Canuck land, than obviously banning guns won't solve this "problem".

America doesn't have a "right to shoot people" either.. duh.

Again in many countries in Europe. not even the police carry them and OMG the country is still there.

Better yet. How about a bear claw? It puts you that much closer to the bear arm.

I believe I said that in the beginning of the thread, you get nothing and it is true. People who want a gun to specifically commit a crime tend to get them illegally.

I call B.S., I bet you were sexually excited during "the scene".

That makes little sense. The part I underlined isn't even a real cohenrent sentence.

I have made points, but since you don't agree with them, you pretend they don't exist.

The right to own guns IS the right to shoot people as US society shows.

and OMG people are still murdered, raped and robbed.

Have you ever been held at gun point? I'm just curious

But not with as high of a crime rate as the US.

No I havent, but I don't need to to know that Guns serve no valid use in society.

Squeal for me, baby, I need it bad.

Out of curiosity, have they released information on how this man obtained his gun?

He is now going to say, "but America has more of each."

The point Robtard is trying to make is that that did not disappear and your way has not obliterated the crimes people commit anyway.
