This scares me seriously because it is not logical at all. This is what I know so far about the shooter they know about:
- Korean
- alien immigrant; allowed to stay in the country as long as he stayed in the school for a certain amount of hours
- English major! English major at VA TECH! Who goes to VA Tech for English??!?!?!?!? Why would a Korean immigrant go all on the opposite coast?

Considering that there are thousands of illegal immigrants in prison, I don't see how this one is going to have some "anti-immigration" push in America as you want to imply.
The political spin on this is going to be ugly. Candidates are getting ready to spill out their plans after all.
This is similar to how the incident of 9/11 lead to Muslim anxiety all across the country. Because it is not a Mexican, one could spin this to make it even worse. He is an immigrant. The race is not important. He was an alien immigrant allowed to come here for credits in school.
I find it funny that immigration is so opposed among some people since this is a country of immigrants after all, but that's another topic.

He isn't the first immigrant to commit a crime, what makes this one so special? The only people who will make a "race issue" out of this are the ass-clowns who have nothing better to do and are nothing more than attention whores.

I already said what I thought was odd. VA Tech is a great technical school. One of the best educations you can get in said fields. But for freaking English?
There are plenty of colleges in California that are known for their prestige in the college of arts. Why go cross country to a school that is not well known for that program? People who go to universities outside of their country attend those schools because they are well known for said program. VA Tech is not known for English.
Why are you looking for me to down VA Tech?
