I don't, but why would you go to a technical school for an English major? Is there any example where that makes sense?
They provide the major in which he wanted so there wasn't a reason not to go. It provided him with the classes he needed so no reason not to go. It provides English as a major so no reason not to go.
Are you to tell me that everyone who wants to go into medicine in Virginia should go to Virginia Commonwealth University b/c it excels in the Medical Field?
Your way of thinking just doesn't make sense.
People go to colleges b/c they like them. They choose where they want to go..............or settle b/c they can't get into better places which could also be the cause.
And going by what I read from the Plays that he wrote in one of his classes, he probably couldn't get into a real good prestigious college b/c his writing, while very violent and troubling, was also crude and immature.

So if I am going to become an engineer in whichever field, I should come to the University of Tennessee instead of MIT because I like it more? Just making sure I understand you correctly. If every high school senior who wanted to be an engineer could attend a school like MIT, they would do it.
And where did you read one of his plays?
