Let`s say we have 2 people. One lives in modern Western country, and is murderer and rapist-psychopath or sociopath, let`s say. Another one is soldier from the past- you can say he is Mongolian/Asyrian/Roman... it doesn`t matter. The army conquers a city, and there is total slaughter and pillaging. Soldier partcipates in murdering and raping of civillians, just like others.

Do you really think that we can judge those two people in the same way?

Basic Sociology. He was not a pedophile though.

I didn't make this thread for the sake of judgement. This was a question I asked Muslimscholar, one he refused to answer. So I make this thread, so that he, Fatima, and any other Muslim can address, and so far I do not feel my question has actually been answered...at least not by you guys.

It all started like this:

On the Islam Questions thread, I asked why does he think it's okay that Gays get executed under Islam Law ?

He gave me a stupid answer that if everyone becomes Gay then the population will run out, and that execution serves a warning to those other men who "plan to become gay". This was a huge display of ignorance, so I responded:

How can you condemn Gay people when your own prophet was a Peadophile ?

He stated Muhammed was not a peadophile.

I asked, "Did Muhammed not marry a 9 year old girl?"

He stated yes, but it was different, because he wanted to share his wisdom with her.

I replied, "yes but he still mated with a 9 year old..that is peadophilia"

He never gave me an answer.

I was going to address it once more, but I decided maybe it was too antagonizing, so instead I pmed Muslimscholar a request for a Truce. I asked him if we could forgive the other for our prior offenses towards another, and start clean, and try to understand each other instead of bash each other.

He never responded, in fact, he claimed that I only wrote that pm, because "I needed his help, because I'm Gay and everyone is attacking me"

His ignorance and immaturity are strong, and I decided to disregard any respect I would have had for his feelings, and opened up this thread. I decided to ask the question I wanted to ask beforehand, before I decided to call the truce. He does not want, or need any such thing, so I am free to ask this, without worry that he will feel antagonized.

I already explained why. I have nothing against Muhammed being a peadophile, in fact, I couldn't care less...I don't see that as evil.

But Muslimscholar and Fatima deny he was a peadophile, they deny that was an act of peadophilia, and I want to know why.

1) I find it hypocritical that Islam would be against Homosexuality, but okay with Muhammed's act of peadophilia.

2) As long as no one was hurt, then the protest is fine in my eyes. There's so many other places in the world to display Gay Pride, we don't need to do it in a city where it is not welcome.

Not Buddhism. Buddhism, not in its cor or practice, permits violence of any kind.

Secondly, the Quran permits this bloodshed. It permits the beheading of Atheists, it permits the execution of homosexuals, it permits the dismemberment of theives and liars.

Men have killed under Islam, in the name of Islam, by permission of the text in the Quran. Bloodshed and violence is as much as part of Islam as the journey to Mecca.
