MANY/MOST of bb's fights include him going h2h. why woudln't he here? he beat hulk before and went h2h, so why wouldn't he think he could do so again? if hulk has shaken dimensions with his blows, is it pis he doesn't disintegrate bb with a single hit or thunderclap?
people are always too quick to call pis when they disagree with how a battle went. i don't have any problems with how it went down. is it conceiveable bb underestimated the hulk because he has beaten him in the past? that much i would certainly allow. pis though? not imo.
Hahaha. You seem to be under the impression that Black Bolt is just some arrogant idiot who expects Hulk to go straight down. He's a king, there's a reason why he's the leader of the Inhumans. There's a reason why Sentry is scared of him.
What dimensions has Hulk shaken? Not that it's a big feat. Nate Grey tears dimensions apart. But you're sitting there claiming Black Bolt's powers to be PIS, I'm starting to wonder if you even know what the word means.

Your new and a Mongoose so I will cut you a little slack but there is a reason Leonidas is a judge in tourney's and one of the more respected members of the forum.
That reason is not his LACK of knowledge but his knowledge. 😉
blackbolt, as summed up by karnak, is perfect. the man is flawless. there isn't a single exploitable weak spot on his body. aside from seeing weakness in physical things, karnak's able to see flaws in plans or logic. and blackbolt hasn't made any, ever, according to karnak. that's a pretty big testament to the idea that, if blackbolt sent an unstoppable psychopath into deep space, but he somehow came back to kill him, BB wouldn't just stand there like a putz.
the scene was made to show just how great hulk has become, and it severely downplayed blackbolt for that very reason. it's widely-known among comic readers, even those unfamiliar with blackbolt and the inhumans, that his scream is one of the most dangerous forces imaginable. so they played up that aspect of his power, ignoring any rationale he could've, should've and would've used if it wasn't a hulk-centric story, to make the hulk look cool and strong and "badass."
interesting enough, for the sake of the story, but kind of a slap in the face to any fans of BB or the inhumans at large.

None of that changes the fact that Black Bolt was written as a complete idiot and that it was PIS. They put down Black Bolt in order to make the Hulk look stronger, that's alright. It's just sad that people who hardly know anything about Black Bolt is left with such a crappy impression of him.
Also. Respected members can be wrong and yes, tourney judges can be wrong as well. Writers can also be wrong, like when Bruebaker wrote that Vulcan was above Omega class and Omega class plus. Or in pretty much every story written by Loeb.

I read all of PlanetHulk a few days ago. Awsome depiction of the character, great story line, impressive feats, character development for Hulk that still stayed true to the character. Thats an awsome depiction of Hulk.
WWH hasn't impressed me nearly as much (mainly because the writing has regressed him back down to being nothing but a big angry guy).
