Hulk faught intelligently, and given his unlimited strength, stamina, healing, regeneration ... they got thier arses handed to them.
worst of all, you could see he was patently holding back, pulling punches and deciding against using any killer blows.

He held back in one panel.
There's nothing that will keep adamantium from going straight into his brain.
If they had used all students, Hulk would've went down.

and we'll see about the adamantium to the brain stuff, it's easy to say but you have no comprehension of the matter of the requisit force (power) that it would take to push it into The Hulk. nor for that matter the fact that it would have negligible effect on a creature that would reform and heal around it nearly instantly. so again, the hell is that going to do to stop Hulk?
suffice it to say, they got handled pretty easy and The Hulk was holding back all the way through - he could have continued to Thunderclap ever more powerfully... annihilating most of the students almost instantaneously, but he didn't, he could have torn the place to shreds, but he didn't, he could have taken Beast's head straight off with the first blow, but he didn't ...

I'd like to see Hulk touch Loa.
Getting through Hulk's skull shouldn't be a big problem for X-23. She can go through many openings. There's a reason why Wolverine can cut through things like butter, Adamantium isn't some dull ass metal. It cuts through things easily.
He doesn't heal instantly, he heals quickly. How do you know that a needle straight into his brain wouldn't kill him? Or two? or six? Healing brain injuries take a LONG time, that's why Sabretooth didn't heal Wolverine's stab in a week. Have we ever seen Hulk get stabbed in the brain?

Seriously, I know he's not an idiot anymore, but the entire fact that he somehow knows all about the New X-men and how to beat them is completely ridiculous if you ask me.
That and the fact that he is speaking in complete sentences kind of bothers me. At least in WWH, he keeps on saying Puny Humans 😬

I like the fact that he was fighting smarter, not the fact that he knew ALL about the new x-men's powers. How the **** did he know about Santo? That's just complete and utter bull****.
