Praise & Worship/Testimonies/Prayers...

Do people who are not Christian ever wake up from a coma?

It is only your belief that makes these things seem to be extraordinary, but ultimately it only leads to suffering. For the time that it does not work leads a person to question themselves.

1.) Yes

2.) Yes

3.) Yes

I've yet to see somebody prayed for (by myself or others in my church) and not recieve what they were praying for.

Do unbelieving people get lucky? Yes, now and then they do. But it's rare. (and God is trying to get their attention anyway)

But what are the chances that SO MANY healings and testimonies come out of one place? (impact church in northern california)

One little church with less than 500 people and every testimony that I've posted in these pages involves the people there.

Pretty incredible odds for all those people who believe in God's healing to all JUST HAPPEN to also be the ones who get lucky.

Only with the help of Satan.

It probably helps to be extremely patient and word the prayers carefully.

i'd be more than happy to help verify this empirically

Non-Christians are of course welcome and encouraged to post, but please keep it positive.

How nice. Otherwise, I would've felt left out, without an invite.

This isn't the place to dispute a claim or tell a Christian that they're wrong.

That's right people. Internet forums are NOT the place to dispute claims of divine intervention. Either step in line with the thread-starter's opinion, or GTFO!

...

...from the opening post, granted. But I had never read it before and swallowed too much pop in amusement when I read it.

I guess it helps to never talk about or count the failures. I know exactly how it works.

You've never seen anyone being prayed about getting healthy that then died?

Does your church only take the easy pray jobs?

I suspect his answer might be...

"We heard those prayers and they were answered. God said 'No'."

That is a pretty shitty answer...not to my question, more on God's part.

unfortunately he says they received what they prayed for

so, if one wants to find sithsabres church, just look for the one where all the women have boob jobs and the men drive lambos.

😉

LOL at everybody's postings.

No, we don't just pray for easy cases. (did you read about tumors, diseases, comas, etc...) We pray for serious stuff.

Yes, I'm serious. I've never seen anybody that we've prayed for not get healed.

Why?

God's real friends.

Tis the whole point of this thread really. To take as many testimonies and examples that I have had in my experience with God and share them. I'm not giving some other church people's stories or testimonies, just the ones of people that I know.

You can decide not to believe and that's fine but I'm going to use this thread to tell what I've seen... like the blind man in the book of Matthew: "I don't know who or what your talking about with relgion...all I know is I was blind and now I see." (paraphrased)

That was my first thought.

My second was "He's full of shit"

Sadly for my eternal soul I am stuck on the second now.

We all get presents at Christmas time because Santa Clause is real. Now you can decide not to believe.

The truth is; we give each other gifts and there is no need for a Santa Clause. Pray is very powerful, and does not need a god. We heal ourselves. Belief is a powerful thing, and medical science has come a long way.

I bet he does not want to insult god. 😉

lol

God needs to stop being so sensitive

and really, if he can just pray and heal people, my grandfather isn't doing too well, I'm sure he'd appreciate another 25 healthy years

He'll claim that is has been tested empirically/ negative vibrations of observers would make it fail/ anecdotal evidence is empirical evidence.

I don't think I've come across that second one before...

does that work for all science???

Do you consider psycotronics or parapsychometrics to be science?
