And he wanted to add more of what he said to better show how HE uses "shit"... in a different way or more of a way than mine. So about the Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, etc he said “So if I think something is boring or dull, like Arctic Monkeys, I think it's shit music, like Lily Allen.”…He “thinks it’s shit music”…not SAYS it’s shit music…THINKS it’s shit music.

CAN YOU NOT SEE THE DIFFERENCE? Come on!

So again Bardock, if I indeed did misquote him like he says I did (about him thinking "good" and "crap" can ONLY be words to express blah, blah, blah), and doesn't agree with me on this...then he obviously means something different or something more when HE uses "shit" to describe a song/band/music...That's why he asked that I use more of his quote to show HE uses “shit” to describe music…and it said about the Arctic Monkeys/Lily Allen “I think it's shit music “

And as for your definition attempt...you said "good" can mean "satisfactory in quality, quantity, or degree"...agreed

But...I'm afraid you misused it.

An amount of money can be satisfactory to someone in this way. The person is satisfied with getting this much at this job vs. that much at that job. He thinks the amount of money he gets at the higher paying job is "good"..."satisfactory in quality, quantity, or degree"

Now...with music (according to what you people believe around music) a song can be satisfactory to someone, but NOT in it's "quality" "quantity" or "degree", ONLY in terms of how it appeals to them...because "quality" "quantity" or "degree" are not even VALID CONCEPTS (for someone like AC who thinks there's no such thing as measureably good/bad music) to define music!

So know what you're saying when you say "good" with music. I do...and I've expressed this...and it seems you agree one moment and then not the next. You haven't gotten the idea clear in your head yet it seems.
