The nerfs for Terran are pretty reasonable, the stim timing push was a bit silly before, delaying it a bit will help. Toss also got nerfed a little - High Templars no longer can warp in and cast storm immediately, this should be an indirect buff to Terran late game, as it will make harrassment much easier and more effective for them, as Toss won't be able to warp in a HT and kill a drop ship full of units with one quick storm.
Zerg got a buff, too. Infesters are going to be pretty interesting now, should see them a lot more vs Protoss.
Also they added an awesome new map from the GSL. A very very good, large macro map, makes rushes very tough to execute because of the distance between bases.
I like most of the changes so far. Blax, I'm always up for a game if you want.
Players will be able to evolve their swarms with unique, campaign-only units and abilities, and this evolution will happen in an organic manner befitting of the expansion's Zerg theme. As an example, zerglings can be induced to evolve the ability to split into broodlings upon death. Further evolution can yield specialized sub-species of zerglings such as the swarmling, a variant that spawns three swarmlings per larvae instead of the standard two zerglings. The fearsome raptor is another evolutionary offshoot of the zergling that has more health, and the ability to leap short distances to quickly close the gap on an enemy.
The only bit of multiplayer information is that they're apparently going to actually remove some multiplayer units, while adding others. Could have huge implications if they go through with it, depending on what units actually get removed.
The single player stuff all looked pretty good, too. The RPG elements should be nice.
So I was playing the single player campaign the last couple of days and I absolutely cannot beat the "nova" level. It's the level where you have to move your base slowly forward to take the Xel Naga artifact. I just couldn't take down the protoss base in the center soon enough to get enough resources.
I hate that level. It was hard on easy, for me, and it's impossible on hard. I just hate it with a passion.
Is there an EASY way to beat that level other than painstaking luck?
you can immediately use the force you start out with and scout/destroy the small enemy camps scattered along the way.. the central base can be taken with your starting force backed up with a few ground units and air units, preferably medics and science vessels.. after you take the center of the map, you can take your time since you're quite a distance from the fire wall.. remember to keep producing banshees and marines for reinforcements.. when the fire wall threatens the protoss camp that lies directly north of your camp, they will attack your base.. once you establish your base in the center of the map, amass your army then take the artifact..

Thanks. I'll try those tactics. I think my problem was just not using the correct build-outs. I could easily google an answer but I don't feel like watching a video for 10 mins: it's just faster to ask.

Helpful hint for that mission. The fire moves in relation to how fast you move your own stuff. Meaning, if you move your stuff very quickly the fire will begin moving faster, however if you wait until the very last minute, the fire will slow down.
WTF!!!!!?!?!?!?!?
I hate that level even more, now.
Regarding that planet on fire mission, I'd advise you NOT to go infantry heavy for the final push since they'll storm the shit out of you.

New multiplayer units revealed at Blizzcon today
Some really interesting ones. The replicant for the Protoss sounds like it could be amazing and extraordinarily powerful. Won't be surprised if this gets nerfed significantly or removed all together.
The new zerg units also sound awesome.
Looks gooooooooooooooood!
