Ah. Thanks for that.
Your welcome.

As for the topic i guess ill have to let my fanboyism slide this time as logically nadd would win though i do not believe it will be ownage.

Statistics are N-Canon, and they alone (and even then, LFL has still stated that they can be used to act as comparison devices, and that they reflect on established canon). Gameplay mechanics that elaborate on the story are perfectly canon, and in this case, they're being presented by an omniscient source.

By a fallible in-universe source, yes.

Firstly, here's the one and only mention of Nadd in the entire article:

The last lord of the Sith Empire to possess Adas' holocron was Lord Garu, who died around the time of the Great Hyperspace War. The holocron was abandoned on the planet Ashas Ree until its rediscovery centuries later by the fallen Jedi Freedon Nadd. Nadd used it to rule the planet Onderon, where the teachings of King Adas helped usher in a new age of darkness. When the Jedi eventually freed Onderon of the dark side, they gained possession of the Sith holocron and banished it to a place where it could, presumably, never be recovered -- under millions of tons of water on a scarcely known world called Kodai.

Hardly extensive.

Secondly, the stuff on Nadd is completely unrelated to the stuff on Noon and cortosis, ergo it can't be used to measure its accuracy on that topic.

Thirdly, the fact that the source is fallible by nature means that no matter how reliable you think it is, it's not in a position to retcon material that's infallible by nature. You have no point, bottom line. The in-universe article is quite simply wrong in this case, as it contradicts an out-of-universe source.

No, it's explicitly stated on page 60 that it's made out of cortosis ore, and deactivates a lightsaber upon impact. [/B]

No.

As I have no intention of taking IKP off ignore, I'll simply say that the section it's under is a gameplay stat and at no point does it state Nadd's armor has any cortosis ore.

Again: According to Evil Never Dies, the most recent and comprehensive source on the subject, the specific cortosis armor was invented by Larad Noon and given that the Jedi, after recovering Nadd's corpse, STILL WITH HIS ARMOR ON, would be aware of who had what first

Which didn't stop you from using the statement that Palpatine had mastered nearly ever known power, rediscovered forgotten ones, and created new ones (which also happened to be under his stats) in virtually every thread involving him about a year ago.

And again, as long as it's not a statistic itself, it's canon. It's LFL's policy on it, and you've worked by that in the past, both with what I mentioned above, as well as when you were asked for proof that Yoda had knowledge of the Force Light ability.

and at no point does it state Nadd's armor has any cortosis ore.

Yes it does.

Page 60 - 'Cortosis weave - Deactivates any lightsaber that damages the wearer.'

Lightsnake, this isn't up for debate. An out of universe source disagrees, and even if that wasn't the case, you'd have to have proven that the Jedi were to have in depth studied his armour in the first place, and that if so, their knowledge in regards to it were available to the historian who had written the article thousands of years later.

And yet again, RPG stats are never and have never been canon.

Just put him on ignore, DS. He'll keep responding if you do

One must generally say please, first, correct?

Not when you're a Moderator. You learn this in the Game Versus forum.
I'll avoid that kind of language in future, REX.
