The Darkside Sourcebook; under Nadd's profile it's stated that h possesses it, and under the profile for the armour, it's stated that the armour's made out of cortosis ore, and actually deactivates a lightsaber upon impact.

I thought that cortosis armor was invented after nadd's death.

It was.
It was invented by Larad Noon after Exar Kun's death. According to the New Essential Guide of Weapons and Technology, Dark Armor is just the classification given to any dark sider's armor.

Pyron, I checked it out: Oddly enough, there's no mention of Nadd having Dark Armor in the Dark Armor section...just in Nadd's stats profile. And this can easily be overlooked as we know In Evil Never dies, Larad Noon constructs the first set

I take it back in this case nebaris that it was really there in the DSSB. Though lightsnake's point seems to be valid.

evil never dies is an in universe source however its not in a position to retcon out of universe material
