If so i answer it by telling you that i never made any claims for legalising or making anything illegal anywhere. So even though, i am lost in your forming of a question, I dont see where hypocritical remarks towards siding on an issue of legalisation can be infered on my part, for i have made no such claims one way or the other

lets be clear. while the comment was in fact used, it was used as a propaganda tool. the reason was likely the paper/cotton industry. logic dictates this. hemp is literally a weed which grows far more rapidly than cotton and especially trees. regardless of quality, the issue was quantity and due to far less overhead and labor, the hemp industry would have blown the cotton and paper industries out of the frikin water, no contest.
:edit: well correction: im sure the cotton industry would have continued to thrive, but it would have certainly taken a massive blow in prophits.
