I'm pretty sure that's just the EU trying to save their "hero" from being defeated by Obi-Wan by saying Maul was wounded.

Never saw Maul encounter any Sandpeople in episode I.

no, but the EU covers stuff that is set apart from the films, the book i read covers the events of tpm, but from mauls point of view..

ROTS suited Vader would get killed. Bol Chatak is an unimpressive Jedi and she nearly bested Vader a month after, Maul would destroy her in a fight. He destroys Vader.

Yes, Maul would lose to Vader in a Force duel, I agree, but I disagree that Maul would beat any Vader in a saber duel, unless you are talking about suited Vader, cause ROTS Vader before getting injured would beat Maul in a saber duel I think. You must have just meant Vader in the suit.

Funny how in the ROTS Vader vs. Maul thread we all provide sufficient proof that pre-suit Vader would not pwn Maul, yet you ingore it. You are truly amazing at ignoring that which you don’t want to here.

And if suited Vader is ahead of Maul with bladed then Maul must be stronger than he is with the Force, otherwise how would Maul have been beating Vader for 99% of their duel when they fought? Plus Maul nearly killed PT Sidious in a duel, Vader wouldn’t get pwnd but I doubt it’d be that close. And Maul killed the finest swordsman of the TPM Jedi Order and took on one of the greatest swordsman, and his strong apprentice, at the same time, when he wasn’t at full strength, and he basically won. No, Maul definitely beats OT Vader in a pure saber duel, it’s close but he definitely takes him.

And an "all out fight" would mean giving it all you got at your opponent which in this case suited OT vader would beat maul with the force but i wouldnt say it will be easy

vader in rots pre suit is vader>maul in saber combat and force power.

during ROTS anakin was one of top lightsaber combatants and gave obi-wan a run for his money.
