Whats wrong with the ending?

it seemed to come to an end far too quickly...the other characters that were brought into had no development at all

there was also no explanation for when he is talking about a dark seekers behaviour when it injures itself coming into the light...then there is no explanation as to who set the trap for Robert Neville...although i'm guessing we're supposed to assume it was the same dark seeker "leader"

I didn't find that scene in the building intense at all,

the bit you mention was very silent hill-esque..which for me is not a bad thing because, although i'm in a minority, i liked silent hill

i loved the fact that he was walking through the building covering the light to as not to attract too much attention...the sweat was pouring off him...i thought it was very well done

Oh I enjoyed Silent Hill too 🙂 Yes it was very Silent Hill like, the bit with the

Spoiler:
Nurses in the corridoor

Then people wanting to read the book shouldn't have been reading a thread like this where comparisons to the book were going to be inevitable. If you didn't want to be spoiled on the book it was hardly smart to start reading through such a thread; it was doubly stupid to keep on reading once the book was being mentioned to the point where details of it were talked of.

It wasn't even slightly inconsiderate of me- I have an expectation of reasonable and intelligent beheaviour by others. For sure, this sort of thing is not what the spoiler tags are for.

Oddly enough no-one asks for Austen spoilers when a Pride and Prejudice film comes out.

Unfortunately, I thought any major details of the book would be posted with spoiler tags. Like I said, doesn't matter now; I've finished the book, and what's done is done. No need to get your panties in a bunch. 😉

I took it as the dark seeker he captured was probably the girlfriend or whatever of the one who came out into the sunlight, hence him being all pissed and coming after Neville. srug

The movie just dragged on with useless shit, it needed another half hour to fill in/explain the useless parts. The woman at the end was useless....just an excuse to get to the end of the movie quicker. Surely they could have thought of something a bit more creative than 'God showed me the way' and the destiny crap. It lagged with irrelevant stuff, didnt elaborate on any important stuff and cut through the exciting stuff too fast. It'd be a good movie to watch again if there was more to it, but I dont think I could stand watching the Shrek scene over and over, god that dragged and had no relevance whatsoever. He likes Shrek, who gives a shit, get on with it already.

Also, you'd think someone smart enough to find a cure for the disease would be smart enough to go put some uv lights up inside his own house...

I liked Silent Hill also it had a bit of an arthouse movie sensibility.

I saw I Am Legend last night this time on Imax. My lady friend's gonna see it again this afternoon this time with her moms and wants me to come again but 2 times was enough for me. I'm going home to perfect my poker skills.

i think the dialogue in the shrek bit was relative to his situation..."i don't have any friends...and i AM NOT going out there by myself"

i didn't pay attn to the Shrek dialouge. I was more into what was happening in the movie.

But that is a profound observation. Didn't notice that.

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

Just been to see this movie. Brilliant even though I don´t like sad endings.

The start was amazing, deserted new york with all those cars parked up, trees on the road etc.. I managed to actually imagine what it must be like, brilliant how they did that.

Here is something I don't understand, though.

Obviously, the Seekers must have been following, though from a distance, in the shadows, the whole time/ Otherwise they wouldn't have been able to notice that he talked to that dummy and stuff, and wouldn't have been able to move it.

So if they were following him, what kept them from finding out the location of his house sooner, and ransacking it then?

They knew the location of his house I think, when it first turns dark he is lying in a bath tub listening to all them outside banging on the doors...

I missed something, how did they in fact

Spoiler:
get into his house near the end because he had security

Then why was he so surprised or whatever when he was like"OMG.. did they follow you?"

The Seekers probably saw the mannequins at night. Remember, during the day, they were in their "hives." I don't think they were very active during the day.

I think those noises were just the routine sounds from all the creatures roaming around. I don't think they knew that was his house.

Looks like it'll be entertaining, not so sure how thrilled I am learning that its a vampire movie though.

There are vampires in this movie? O_O

I thought those monsters in the trailers where just man eating mutated humans.

There´s a lots of illogical things in the movie, its not real after all

Like lions in NYC...get real.
