A) They're similar to vampires (can't go out in sunlight, thirst for blood, etc.)
B) They were "vampires" in the traditional sense (which, I suppose, is what you're thinking of) in the novel.

They are vampires. But Im pretty sure youre just baiting.
Did you happen to take some time to read H.S. 6's post? You should.
In the movie they weren't Vampires. In the book, they were. Simple and Clean.

Well I didn't read the book, so I wasn't stating they were vampires of my own opinion/whatever, I was going by what was said in this thread so don't go trying to convince me.
There's nothing wrong with a whole lot of things. I was just curious as to why it was being so freely worded as to what they actually were in the movie. Not crying. Curious. Stop whining. Bye now.

I'm not trying to convince you of anything, I am stating facts, that happen to contradict the nonsense you posted, so quit crying and just accept it.
They're extremely similar to vampires, so calling them "vampires" fits, which part of that can't feeble mind comprehend?
Umm......where did I say that I didn't accept it? I didn't read the book so I have no right to refute that.
I did see the movie.....if I don't want to refer to them as vampires, which they technically are not, then so be it. You'll have to accept that.
I asked a question, got an answer. No problem. Move on. Don't create problems that are not there.

Then why can't you accept other people referring to them as Vampires, when you want people to accept you not referring to them as such?
