In every country there are racists. Mostly people who are unsatisfied with there own lives and need someone to blame, in your case it was because you are black.

Looking at your picture I would think that you are Latino, but i would also say that a good percentage of Black flows in your veins as well. A great deal of Blacks fled from Haiti to the Dominican Republic during slavery, because if they had the money they were able to purchase there freedom. So there was a great deal of mixing going on with the Natives Spaniards and Blacks. I've been mistaken as being Dominican more than i can count, but to my knowledge have no Latin in my family.

White people are not racist inherently, as in they are born racist. A white person in the U.S. is just surrounded by the idea of white privilege.
Some of you are idiots for even trying to say "cracker" and "n1gger" are equal in terms of "meaning." If you want to be literal about it, meaning can be determined by intention. It's like trying to explain why you would call someone "a$$hole." You might be a good friend with someone and call them a$$hole. You could use the same word to apply to someone you dislike.
N1gger is a word that most people are ignorant of, even black people. The generation of black people who are becoming the next leaders do not identify with the word very well because they do not understand it in context. Regardless of the spin, there is no way to justify using the word only among black people to a person who is not black.
At the same time, you idiots who keep saying also do not understand the word in context either. You do not go through ethnostress in the same way. You are not concerned about DWB (Driving While Black). You are not concerned that you will not get a job because of your race, despite being more qualified that a white man (and do not act like it never happens; it's 2007! that means nothing). You do not have to worry about having your hair a certain way or wearing certain colors because you "might fit a description." You do not have worry about too many of "your people" moving in and ****ing up the property value because some people think they are not fit so they all leave (white flight; although in many cities they are moving the poor into places where they used to be suburbs and buying out the broken down houses in downtown areas so they can build new property and... you see what I'm saying) . There's a lot of shit beyond just the word itself.
The fact is this: intention can be just as hateful for either word; however, there is no way that "cracker" could ever come with the same hurt that being called "n1gger" does with the way history has turned out in this dimension.msn-wink
