I'm hoping we'll get to see Balder redeem himself for letting Loki manipulate him so. Maybe Balder will use his light-based powers or something?

Fraction writes a decent Thor.

Romita? meh, kinda done with his art. His square box characters will feel like a letdown after the incredible art we've seen so far.

And I agree with you on Romaita. I don't hate the man, but I the current art is better in my mind that anything I've seen of his.

Fraction's been a hot up and comer for years now. I was pleased with his work on THOR: AGES OF THUNDER. JMS is good but is doing more work at DC now, and is becoming unreliably slow due to his many commitments.

Fractions Thor one shots have been great , so im happy with him doing anything on Thor.

Fraction's Thor one shots are pretty good.

Marko Djurdjevic's art is beautiful but he's slow and the delays on Thor have been bad. Romita would be much faster which I suppose is better for Marvel, that's one of the reasons why Greg Land is on Uncanny and not Adi Granov. He gets books done quickly.

And Fraction has also been doing good with 'Invincible Iron Man'

but not so great with Uncanny X-men and the Punisher: War Journal that he did.

He seems to be better at writing solo "meta" characters then teams. His Thor was decent in Secret Invasion.

Delays never really bothered me that much - its a quality over quickness thing. But I can see how it can royally piss people off who expect the companies to keep to their own damn deadlines.

Well, it was pretty straight-forward and expected, #605.

By the way, when Thor goes to aid Balder in the latest issue, is it supposed to display super speed or something? There is a thunder crossing the path in which Thor entered the fray which looks as if he flashed his way into the fight.

Not that I would use it as a display of super speed, but it looked cool!

It could certainly be interpreted in such a way, IMO. Him being literally as fast as lightning would make sense.

Been looking at the future releases on the Marvel site

looks like Lady Sif is getting her own book.
