Thor Discussion

Read Thor #606.

Pretty decent.

Whats this news about Jason Aaron doing Thor?

Thor 606 was downright awesome. Finally, great characterization (Doom ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE DOOM!), a ton of action, and a lot of plot development. If I'm buying a comic, I want things to happen. I'm not buying a novel.

For #607 why is Volstagg in Jail when also you see him with the people in Siege Embedded?

anyone willing to comment the latest Thor - Hulk fight?

Crappy CIS and PIS junk as usual.

Hulk and Juggs stalemate each other but some how Hulk beats Thor BUT Thor and Juggs pretty much stalemate each other also.

Craptastic.

Thor in a non CIS and PIS fight would stomp these guys.

is there any chance that was Clor/Ragnarok?
due to his old uniform/clothes?

I'm thinking it was supposed to be a flashback kind of deal.

But yeah, crap ass comic from a guy who probably thinks Ultimate Avengers: The Movie and Thor vs. Hulk is canon.

that art looks nice

I think the recent fight sucked. It was terrible to put it mildly. I bet most Hulk fans can't even say they liked the issue aside fromt he fact Hulk looked much better in this ish.

I don't have a problem with the recent fight. What we saw was Banner incorrectly remembering an encounter with Thor that he himself found improbable which makes sense looking back at their brawls. It's barely any more valid than a dream sequence like when Hulk crushed Mjolnir.

Quote me where I said it was a dream (Which I highly doubt you can because I specifically said the fight sequence that we saw was Banner attempting to remember what happened.) or concede to being unable to read or talking out of your ass.

So I take it you concede to not being able to read since what you quoted was me saying that what happened was barely more valid than a dream sequence because of the circumstances and not me saying it was a dream.

WORDS HAVE MEANING! Once you learn to properly read you'll understand what I mean.

I read just fine, thank you.

I can also read between the lines...sometimes what's not said is the true meaning.

You didn't literally say it, but you implied it was a dream sequence that perhaps Banner just imagined it.

Really? It seems your trying to prove otherwise.

So now you're trying to cover up your failure to grasp the English language by putting words in my mouth?

No, I never implied it was a dream sequence you dolt. I clearly said that what we saw was Banner trying to remember the events that happened and he thought he recalled them wrong. Hence why I went on to say that this was not that much more valid than the dream sequence where Hulk crushes Mjolnir and beats Thor.

It was such a straight forward statement but you being you had to go on and talk out of your ass. You tried to make me look silly by claiming that I somehow said or implied it was a dream which I clearly did not. All you ended up doing was proving how silly you are. Irony. It's hilarious.

Well, I'm gonna pick on Rage. BTW, he started it! sneer

So, the artist went out of his way to show us something that didn't happen and the writer went out of his way to write something which didn't happen. To be clear, we're to disregard the art showing Thor losing and disregard the writer's dialogue where the guy asking for Bruce's autograph says "...but you won in the end."? And this extraordinary assumption is based on a caption box saying "Yeah, right..."?

I guess the caption box which says "Yeah, right..." wasn't a direct reference to the previous caption box which says "...I definitely won't be bothering you again."

I mean it makes much more sense to think the "yeah, right" meant something other than this: ...I definitely won't be bothering you again. Yeah, right...

mmm

mhmm

YEAH RIGHT! durlaugh

biscuits

Okay, now that I've got that out of the way let's take a look at the latest Thor/Hulk fight. Thor had Hulk down, beaten and then did what most heroes do...He started talking! Seriously, telling Hulk to "yield" and "the better man has won"?

Fact is Thor showed mercy and it came back and bit him. If Thor doesn't start his "hero dialogue" then the fight looks a lot different. Aside from Rage's hypothetical, dream sequence, alternate reality, clouded memory, mumbo jumbo reasoning, it's plain CIS that happens to most heroes. See Superman. Sorry Rage. biscuits

And this all coming from me, a known Hulk fan.

Thanks for discussing my question.....
