But wait, I'm going to ignore most of the other panels, alter the context of the situation and claim that arguments I dislike are hyperbole. I'll refrain from citing Pak's opinion on the subject though, that's sinking too low.
Hmmmm where have i seen this deabting tatic before 😱

How many Thor books are there and what are the themes of these books (mythology, cosmic, human side etc)? (no not the current arc/storyline)

Yes, as in currently that are bi monthly and the themes surrounding them.

a) What's the point of some of these threads such as dedicated character threads or comic book questions thread or even forum if just to be directed to google
b) Google would not provide me with the unique views from members of this forum
c) There's more but I really don't want to spam this thread all ask is that How many Thor books are there currently on a bi monthly basis and what are their central themes?

Currently the Thor related titles being published are The Mighty Thor and Journey Into Mystery. The last issue of the Astonishing Thor miniseries is released next month and the first issue of Thor: Heaven and Earth miniseries is coming out in July. Thor and the Asgardians are main characters in the Fear Itself event.

Wasn't there a Thor + Captain America book coming up?

You mean the free comic book day crossover? That already came out. It was from the same team that wrote the fun Thor: The Mighty Avenger series.

Thanks, the last book I bought of Thor was dissembled. Tbh I dont buy comics or graphic novels anymore but perhaps with the eminence of digital this and that. I will again.

The Mighty Thor - Whats the central theme of that is that more cosmic based while Journey Into Mystery features more on Asgard and Thor's "godly characterisation/interactions" ?

As of now, you could say "The Mighty Thor" is more cosmic based if only for Galactus and Silver Surfer's involvement. Fraction also handled the last issues of the previous Thor volume before turning it into Journey into Mystery, which also dealt with more cosmic/out of this world events with the World Eaters and all. And I believe that Fraction has said that we can count on an eventual Beta Ray Bill cameo and that he does like the Kirby/Lee era of Thor, so more cosmic, out of this world stuff seems plausible.

Journey into Mystery is going to be Loki's book as of now, and will be more methodical and character driven than Mighty Thor, which makes sense; Thor's main book should be heavy action/stakes, where a book featuring Loki should be pretty plot heavy and deal more with characterization.

Mighty Thor # 3 preview. Includes lettered pages of some of the SS vs. Thor battle from the first preview.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Surfer get a lot of respect in Thor's book.

Also, I remember there was a big debate raging about SS using his board against BRB.

Well, he must have remembered that it works, since he does it to Thor

"little hammer" heh

Surfer has such a big ego now doesn't he XD

Both Thor and Surfer haven't met for sometime, since the infinity wars I believe and both of them have upgrades since then.

They last met in Chaos War.
