I do, don't I? Thanks for trying to cheer up man. It means a lot, I appreciate it.
On a more serious note, I wouldn't be so sure. We already know Thor's noticeably weakened. That just screams "excuse" to explain Thor losing.

Looks like Galactus and Odin don't battle until issue 4
In fact, Fraction says he just finished the fourth issue, in which Galactus and Thor's father Odin throw down in world-shaking fashion. "When you can just turn your opponent into a moth and trap that moth inside of a glass jar, how do you possibly combat somebody? Writing a Galactus/Odin, this-is-how-gods-fight kind of scene was a blast."

Yea. They're going to battle it out in The Mighty Thor #4. If a weakened Thor beats Surfer, that's about it for him in vs. threads with Thor.
*Fingers crossed*
That shit aside, I just want a nice, well written battle. I can't wait to see Coipel's Thor/Surfer and Odin/Galactus confrontations. It'll look gorgeous.
It happened in The Mighty Thor #1. He was injured while trying to get the World Seed, the Universal core. Now his bleeding energy or something. In the environment that he was in, time began to boil around the edges and so on. Probably not in the best interest of his health to be exposed to that kind of environment.
Based on the solicits, I'm assuming it's going to get worse.

Don't you absolutely hate the way Fraction writes Thor though?
His last arc was arguably the worst arc in Thor's history.
The first issue of the new series wasn't offensively bad like the previous run but anything not involving Surfer was mediocre at best. The Thor/Odin characterization didn't spit on continuity but then again, we didn't actually get much chance to see their character in play so it might once again be terrible.
Still, every time I hear Thor or Odin say something ridiculous like dammit, or shut up, I want to punch Fraction in the face.

Exactly right. You're on your way to becoming an official Thor fan now.
