Thor..Odinson..my first born son..thou art now worth to wield the power bestowed upon those who defend the golden realm..behold..the almighty Headbutt..

Btw, I dunno if anyone noticed/agrees, but am I right in thinking the purple spiky demon lord who questions Mephisto in the latest JiM when they're standing around the throne, is the "devil" we saw in the first arc of Aaron's Wolverine?

Seeing as Mephisto mentions him as one of those who claims to be the real devil all the time and he looks almost the same...

And that part where the Bartender asks if Mephisto has called himself Satan and Mephisto says of course not

yeah another lie there.

So, what's next?

Thor's sacrifice is what i would call "Hero". Much like Superman in DOS.

Too bad Thor isn't as popular and wont be missed as much if at all. I wounder if they'll bring him back some time as he does have a second movie planned.

Thor is coming back. Here's what's in store for Marvel's January 2012 solicitations.

THE MIGHTY THOR #10

MATT FRACTION (W) • PASQUAL FERRY (A/C) VENOM VARIANT COVER BY TBA

• TANARUS VS. HEIMDALL!

• THOR struggles to free himself before the DEMOGORGE consumes him and a starship full of other fallen gods!

• What did Loki and the Surfer find in the desert and how can it help a god no one can remember?

32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

Looks like he's coming back sooner than expected 😄

Troll.

He's right, though.

Thor dying doesn't have as much impact as Steve or even Tony dying and it didn't help that his death was incredibly anti-climatic. Pisses me off, tbh.

So based on the January solicits, is Surfer going to be a regular in The Mighty Thor?

JiM #630 was hilarious. Volstagg is the greatest.

And the artist/s they've got on the book are good too

Dougie Braithwaite is okay but the ones are now are better.

Thor already had his dramatic exit in Thor Disassembled in 2004. He was absent for three years. This is just a bump in the road.

JIM continues to deliver. I wish Gillen were writing more of these "architect" books and that marvel wouldn't have fraction everywhere.

Is it me or did Mighty Thor #7 just contradict Thor #600 and more, I thought Loki trapped Bor in Asgard, am I wrong!?

Fraction is as Fraction does.

I know, but this whole arc/event was stupid, imo. This should have been Siege, imo, minus Thor dying.

FI and Siege are going to be muddled in my mind for years to come.

You would assume that Fraction would try to reconcile at least this much... but yea...

I don't even care to ask how it's possible that Odin killed all civilization on Earth (which used to be called Aesheim, apparently) before the dawn of human history when you had the other Pantheons, the Eternals, the Celestials, etc.
