I read that when it first came out and I want to know, is the writer trying to say Superman actually created the universe. The top right corner of this scan http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/ff191/Galan_photos/?action=view&current=fc7.jpg

In the FC hard back edition thats just been released does it have all the tie in's(Superman beyond etc)?

I bought it as I didn't buy the miniseries. It contains that final crisis miniseries, both issues of Superman beyond and Final Crisis: Submit (these are between FC #3 and #4). Also in the back is a few sketches ✅

K,thanks will.

Reading the synopsis again.........I fail to see how anyone couldn't figure it out after reading it a few times. It was more complicated than Secret Invasion or the usual JLA issue, but it was brilliant. The analysis on Mandrakk was very interesting and I think accurate.

It's that message of hope and belief in the power of imagination that makes me love DC. 😍

Symbolically, not literally or chronologically.

Remember in "Infinite Crisis" when Johns has Alex Luthor say "Somehow... it all comes from Superman?"

Same idea, just put subtly instead of so heavy-handed.

I am glad you like it...but as a fan of DC for over 30 years...it stunk big time......"reading it a few times" is no advertisement for a good crisis or any major event, they have to capture you from the get go and keep you there..Final Crisis was a failure i.m.o that DC will try and get thru with yet another major event.

If Granny Goodness was in the body of Alpha Lantern Kraken, then why in the Teen Titans tie in issues did we see her in the body of a random henchlady for Boss Dark Side's club???????????

That was quite possibly the nerdiest thing I've ever said. 😐

Man, the more I think about it, the more FC ripped off Ragnarok...

Honestly i really liked it i prefered the not so simple story, and it just was overall more interesting then the normal events in comics. I think it would have been better if they made it longer then seven main issues though. The ending seemed kind of rushed

Which comics are included in Final Crisis companion?

I love how if you didn't read Superman Beyond, the ending of Final crisis would have been the biggest WTF? moment.

A lot of DC's biggest events won't make much sense without reading the Superman part of it.

Eh, i enjoyed Final Crisis, even if the end was a bit of an anti-climax.

Superman Beyond, though? One of the comics of the year, imo. Brilliant mini.

👆 Crossover events should have strong stories. Easily my favorite crisis, followed by Identity Crisis.

The trade of this has superman beyond in it atleast right?

if not then they are being really dumb, I personally feel they shoudl put all the important tie ins in the trades of events.

Beyond was a gem, when you can make a story about abstract "omnipotents" that interesting, you know you have a great book.
