He's kinda just been humping skulls for a a thousand years. I imagine that he got the oaths mixed up; knowing Johns, though, there's probably some tidy little explanation for it, and that's why the words are so stressed.

As to the return featured in this issue, I guess it's just part of Brainy's plan to keep SBP off balance, and keep attacking him psychologically, rather than just physically. And maybe hold him in place long enough for someone like Sunboy to siphon the yellow sunlight out of him.

I was wondering about the Kryptonite thing. Did one of the Element Lad's figure out the specific type of Kryptonite that comes from Clark's homeworld?

Man that connor wank it just retarded...prime plows through superman and other people hell he wrecked a mon els face while suffering from kryptonite poisoning yet connor can draw blood with a punch....right,also there is no figuring out a type of kryptonite...primes howeworld was swallowed by a sun instead of exploding so kryptonite of his universe simply shouldn't exist.

Kryptonite has always been one of his weaknesses. Just not "our" kryptonite.

And to SC, yeah, I get that it's not a retcon of his classic immunity to "our" Kryptonite- Superboy Prime's freaking out makes that obvious. I was just wondering how the hell an Element Lad figured it out. Does one of the Brainiac's have samples of Kryptonite from every Krypton in the multiverse?

If Johns wasn't going to address it, he would have made it such an important story beat, but, still, curious.

I'm not sure how his powers work. Does he have to know the structure of the material or can he think "turn into K-nite that hurts Kryptonians from Earth-Prime" and make it happen?

Well technically the Legion wouldn't exist when Prime was in his universe, but there could be more superhumans in the future

Hm. There aren't any superhumans in Prime's universe, but there ARE aliens- Clark himself is a Kryptonian. If a Krypton existed in Prime's universe, so too, could a Colu or a Daxam.

I haven't seen any evidence of Waid's Legion directly referencing something from DC "history"- John's Legion from Action hung out in the Batcave, Sodam Yat is hanging out there, the "three-bot" Legion fought Ra's a Ghul... but I can't think of any specifically "DC-y" things that Waid's legion references, other than Mon-El and Supergirl, which could be pretty easily explained by some time-travel dimension jumping mumbo-jumbo.

On the other hand... they ARE obsessed with comic books, which are their only "relics" of the heroic past. It's easily possible that they believed these comics were records, when, really, they're just comics. And Johns has, on many, many occasions linked Prime to reading comic books, which has always been an aspect of his character since COIE, but Johns was kind of heavy-handed about it.

I'd say it's a definite possibility that Waid's Legion is from Earth Prime.

There aren't any superhumans on Earth Prime. There ARE aliens with powers, though. They just never came to earth (like J'onn or Hawkman or Starfire on DC Earth), other than Clark Kent.

I just finished FC and I don't get most of it. Don't know much about Darkseid and the ALE and never read Seven Soldiers so it was all a big WTF.

Oh and what happened with Bats at the end?

I never got the single issues so I just bought the hardcover. Contains the miniseries, the FC Submit tie in and the FC Superman beyond 1+2. I thought it had many faults but overall was a good read. It was bit of a mixed bag of awesome and terrible stuff. ✅
