Now there's an interesting idea. hmm But isn't he trapped in time somewhere? 😕

Darkseid and Libra are the villains. Confirmed imo.

Morrison even comments about the Darkseid/Batman incident

You know what? I adore Morrison. He has literally never written a bad comic.

Bendis is going to kick ass on Secret Invasion. Morrison is going to kick even more ass on Final Crisis. And at the same time we have JSA and Booster Gold from Johns and War In Hell and Dream War from Giffen and the Guardian's of the Galaxy from Abnett and the continuing Cap from Brubaker and the rest of this arc of Iron Fist from Brubaker and Fraction and a new Blue Beetle arc that sounds fantastic and Gravel from Ellis is just getting going PLUS Ellis is launching a bunch of free new books and and and.....

GUYS, I just have to say. This is a GREAT time to be a comics reader.

And Sturges taking over Blue Beetle!

Johns also has the Legion mini, Flash mini and Action Comics on his plate.
Sadly his Booster run is almost at an end.

And lets not forget Morrison's Batman and ASSuperman.

Yes, all wonderful. Well, except for Johns leaving Booster. But what's his name, the co-writer, is staying on.

Honestly, fantastic. There's like a dozen books coming out every week that are must-reads. This is such a wonderful, wonderful time to read comics.

And Green Lantern's titles!

Don't know how I forgot those

This is a great time to be a comics fan but I am not really thrilled at all about Secret Invasion. It sounds so lame.

Clearly, you aren't a Spider-Man fan. 😛

Spidey's in repairs right now. And he's been going downhill for the last 10 years.

At this point, screw Spidey. 😛

In the last ten years the quality has went down but it was not a terrible series. Sure there have been some major ****ups (the other, Sins past) but I felt it was still enjoyable. Not like this new status quo

Spideys reboot type of thing has actually been really good, never read him much before couldn't really enjoy it, but still got to say its been damn good.

Isn't Darkseid dead? uhuh

I'm just hoping they won't recycle another villain, and if they do, I would prefer if it was someone who hasn't been used a million times.

I very much disagree. So they got rid of Mary Jane via plot contrivance aka Mephisto. Get over it. You're being too fanboy-ish. Dan Slott's work on Spidey is better than any Spiderman comic has been in a decade.

And stop being a loser. I went back and re-read New Avengers and House of M and Bendis has been working on this for YEARS. the first issue was sweet. Don't be pretentious about fun comics.

Wrong thread though, and I'm acting as if my opinion is more valid than others (which, to be absolutely honest, it is), so I'm going to bring up my delighted-ness about like every line of comics in a more appropriate thread.

Until it's retconned 😉

If plot advances are retconned, that doesn't mean your enjoyment of an once a month Dan Slott spidey-title is retconned. Unless you tie your enjoyment of comics too much into the continuity and not into the characters, which is the worst way to read comics.

😂 Why would you think that?
