Yeah but those guys don't matter.

They won't kill Supes because there's no acceptable substitute. If you kill Batman, theres Nightwing and Robin who fans would accept as a replacement for a year or so until Bruce gets done batkicking death.

Who can replace Kal? Supergirl? Nobody even likes her.

Im not sure if Batman:R.I.P was planned about a year ago but its a "nice" coincidence that Marvel killed Captain America, replace him with a sidekick for a while before bringing the original back(Its gonna happen, dont know when but its gonna happen).
