Is it just me, or did the creature that ate Hud look a lot smaller in comparison to the behemoth that was tearing through the city? I had no idea that was supposed to have been the creature. It looked so small in comparison. It's no big deal, but, just wondering. Oh, by the way...,spoiler alert !!!!!

I think it's the same creature but the camera angle made it seem smaller.
Just saw the movie. Loved it SOOOOO MUCH.
Going to watch it a few more times... So many good scenes to talk about.
Although, I'd like to ask... Who else saw the things crash into the water in the last scene of the movie? When they were overlooking the sea? That was the monster maybe? Two things came from the sky and crashed into the water, and that was that day...
I smell a sequal due to the after credits secret ending ^_^
9/10 in my rating. They positioned everything perfectly, and even the advertisements beforehand were amazing.

Ok ok ok i've been think bout this, so of those lil crab things bite you you'll blow up right? Ok so if like 10 or so bit king kong will he blow up too cuz ape's and man are 99% the same so i concluded cloverfield monster>king kong.
I loved this movie. My favorite person was Hud. So many cool things. The subway tunnel part was one of my favorites by far. All of it, from Hud talking about flaming homeless people to the things attacking. I didn't expect the ending though. Didn't Jason's g/f survive though?

Yea, And I am unconvinced that being bitten leads to explosion. We don't really know what happened to the chick who got bitten. all we know is vertical spurt of blood...
