For example, Batman cannot shove together an 'anti-Avengers ray' before the fight.

We know that he'll use the OE because he does so consistently in fights. It's hardly unreasonable for him to think of using TP against an opponent who can over power him physically. He has nothing to prove in this fight, where as in his fights against Superman he has everything to prove due to his previous loses.

Has he ever actually said that he wants to fight h2h? There's a difference between saying that "honor demands head to head combat" and "I wanna crack some head"

And I'm not saying DS WON'T use the OE(after all SBP has ranged attacks at his disposal as well, so it's not like it would be unfair), but it's not as if the OE is a guaranteed win either. SBP is a bit more durable and powerful than Supes, so dealing with the OE isn't exactly out of the question for him.
