What would we do with more than 6 characters in a gauntlet anyway? People virtually always end up debating only two characters.

The same thing as we always do, having more than 6 characters imo will not change anything, it will simply open up for larger possibilities. Imo potential for more is better than the lack of it even if the potential is not even used.

The Game vs is just boring now since everyone almost uses the same old character/s in 10 different fights.

Well to be fair there are not enough mainstream characters, at least in comics you have a vast number of characters.

It still makes the complaint equally irrelevant. There has only been one complaint on that rule in the time that it's been there. And frankly, AG is right. Changing the rule would not change anything because people will always get hung up on one or two opponents. It won't open up more possibilities at all.

Should feel lucky - I nearly disallowed gauntlets entirely but they were popular enough that I decided to make an exception for them.

And there are more than enough video game characters to choose from. Even mainstream ones. I can't help the fact that people get hung up over the same dozen characters and use nothing but them.

If the same dozen characters are not used, barely anyone will post.

Well, again. That's really not my fault, is it? If people only play a handful of video games and only know a few characters, I can't really do anything about it.

That's not necessarily the problem.

I have played a few games with characters that could be used and would do well in a vs., but the problem is that does not mean anyone else has played the games.

I know the feeling, I personally like the Apostle of Creation from the new Star Ocean, but I doubt everyone has played it.

As you are new to both KMC and this forum, you don't really realize how much has changed in this forum because of this thread.

you are right. but hey i live in the now. 10. is that so much? gauntlets mix mainstream with new or unknown characters and when people say "i dont kno who that is" then they will be school on the characters and possibly make newer interesting threads. i only see positives from this.

I have not been around for long and even I have seen changes thanks to this thread.
