Actually, there exists some amazingly good fanfic.But on FF.N, the average writer is about 12 years old, so yeah. And just about any form of Sonic fanart you find is going to be pure fail.

Most of the fic I've written is Harry Potter, Matrix, or X-Files, with some Sailormoon, Gundam Wing, and Final Fantasy mixed in. I also wrote a lot of DBZ fanfic when I was a kid.
I also write Star Wars fic but it's based off of our RP group, so it's a bit different from standard fanfic. Most of the Matrix stuff I write is similar.
I also write a lot of original fiction, and have participated in NaNoWriMo several times.

Honestly? It was a seriousfic involving my Original-Character-Do-Not-Steal villain that could bring out the darkness inside characters to control/absorb them. Such things included were the Fierce Deity and leftover darkness from Princess Peach's possession by the Shadow Queen.
I ended up trying to juggle too many characters and it fell apart. I don't do slash.
