Okay, I'll explain exactly what they are getting at: The rating system is a complete farce. Genocide and the like happens in rated E games like Zelda. Kingdom Hearts 2 is about as child friendly a game you'll ever find in the world and it was given an E 10+ rating because it has one scene with a speck of blood it in. See the problem? They don't take into account that you're playing a game with cartoon characters. If it has blood, it's going up. What you've established is something everyone here already knows. GOW has blood, nudity, and sex minigames. Of course they're gonna give it a M rating. Zelda is made by an entirely different company, and is a completely different game series, which started in the 1980's. Children at the time loved those games so much, that they've kept up with them since then. And Nintendo wants the newer generations to be able to love these games to so they don't load the games up with tons of blood and they keep the elements from the older games there so its older fans can appreciate it. In short, its designed for EVERYONE! Which is what the E is for!The only reason this whole argument got started was because you called it a kids game. There are loads of kid games that have violence and dark elements. They're just lacking in the no-no department(blood, sex, etc). Understand?

Oh, please...Go look at voting trends over the years. African-American voters have always leaned very much towards voting Democratic.
I know, I was just basically referring to the KKK funding someone colored for presidency.
And his presidency so far probably raising their member count.

actualy it was during world war 2?
No.
There are countries (China, N. Korea, USSR before it broke up, Cuba, etc.) that have labeled themselves as communist.
However, they were nothing more than dictatorships. They did not follow communist philosophies. No country ever has, nor ever will, as human nature makes it completely impossible.

Ok, here's an honest question I am not saying this country is perfect or anywhere near close but what freedoms does this government suppress?

The biggest one is marriage, and the general lack of recognition for anything other than heteronormative relationships. If you are in any sort of relationship other than standard 'married to someone of the opposite gender' type, you're SOL in the majority of the country. You cannot legally marry, you cannot be legally recognized as being in such a partnership, and then this extends over into things like next-of-kin, medical records, insurance, inheritances, and so on.
The fact that we have so little in terms of funding for healthcare, basic social services, and education, is really incredibly abhorrent, being as these are things that should be basic rights - and are in the rest of the world - and yet we can't even make sure that people get them.
Institutionalized racism and sexism is also still a huge, huge problem.
I'm not saying other countries are perfect - nowhere is - but the fact that the US is so far behind on so many things, with the amount of money and power this country has...and the fact that we go about the world trying to solve everyone else's problems when we're such a damn mess...
Clean up the mess in the house before taking care of the rest of the city, you know?
