Wow. That game is like, impossible to get. You can't even rent it on Gamefly. They have it but they won't rent it to anyone, probably because of how rare it is.
EDIT- Well I guess that's only if you disregard all the $20 offers for the game on Ebay. ermm I should work on not talking out of my ass.

But yeah anyways, apparently a port of the two is planned for a 2011 Q1 release.
The biggest difference between the slim and the regular PS2 is that on the regular one, the disc tray and the lens could very easily get knocked out of alignment. But overall, they're pretty much the same, hardware-wise. It doesn't matter which one you get. I prefer the larger one myself but the slim ones are much easier to find and the price difference is generally negligible.

My rants on poor case design and shoddily done marketing are legendary and a surefire form of amusement at my store.
But yes, it can get irritating sometimes when I'm scrolling down and just going "arrrgggh". Cos I nitpick everything, and no, it's not something I can really 'turn off'. However, on the other hand, it also shows me more of what does and doesn't work, so yeah. I'm an extreme perfectionist, myself. The number of attempts that went into GK's little dragon logo, and the even more insane amount of time I spent coming up with my logo I use...yeah.
