Well, it was the forces of Chaos that forced the C'Tan into stasis in the first place. If the immaterum can beat the C'Tan when they were at the height of their power, I think they can do so now.
First of all, the C'Tan were massively weakened as a species at that point. Since Deceiver and the Laughing Eldar God, whom may or may not be the same being, tricked all the C'Tan into warring amongst themselves and eating eachother.
Secondly, Chaos never defeated the C'Tan. The Enslaver plague was not a physical threat to the C'Tan, what it did do however was exterminate nearly all life in the galaxy, rendering the C'Tan food source very scarce, it was due to hunger, not defeat by the Enslavers, that the C'Tan went into slumber.
If Nightbringer's power returns to its full level, Necron starships imbued with a mere measure of its power will be capable of destroying entire solar systems on a whim. The only weapon in the galaxy that I can recall to rival that kind of power would be a Blackstone Fortress, and the Deceiver has gone to great lengths to destroy most of them, and IIRC the Imperium does not know the full potential of the ones they do hold.
So yeah stuff.
Actually, I am pretty sure that the gods proper did not even exist when the C'Tans went into stasis. Could be wrong though.
