Which looks more fantastical for a fantasy world? Personally, I prefer most of Digimon's designs far more. Pokemon, for better or worse, tried to be more realisitc than Digimon with it's fantasy world.

More fantastical? I'm going to go with the floating gears with amazing powers as opposed to the unicorn dinosaur puppy with amazing powers. But it's pretty hard to say.

But I still think that living inanimate objects are probably a little more magical.

In other news, apparently there is an unused design for a Pokemon in Gen V based on the first cloned sheep. And I was right several months back when I guessed that New York City is the basis for the Unova Region.

And Ditto is based on the iconic yellow smiley face.

Digimon also have those. Candles, rocks, etc. I just picked the first one that came to mind.

Now I'm interested in your favorite Pokemon design.

Mines Blaziken. Kung-fu kick-boxing flaming chicken ftw!

Though lets be honest. Mewtwo will always be the coolest pokemon.

If that's the case, Digimon wins in design for having several designs better than Mewtwo.

Plus Renamon is a blackhole of creepy porn that drags down the collective franchise.

I've got a couple favorites. From each generation:

No 5th yet, haven't gotten a good look at them yet.

Renamon love baffles me. Is Angewomon simply not as attractive as a fox? Or is it just furry love? Her Mega form is without a doubt the sexiest thing ever.

MewTwo isn't even close to the best Pokemon. I have loads of favorite Pokemon designs.

Scenario, take a look at Goruugu. So far the English name is unrevealed, but it's a Ghost/Ground type that I find incredibly awesome.
