Spoken like a true fanboy.
Never denied it.
Still too early really to dictate if whether or not a Wii U makes the PS3 and 360 obsolete in terms of games library...
It's powerful enough to run ports and cross-console releases just fine. There's been talk of porting most of the good cross-console games forward to it, Nintendo's first party quality is undeniable, and there's supposed to be great third party for it.

Most of that 10% that currently aren't on the PC are some pretty damn good games though, but to each his own.
GoW/MK, really. LBP and stuff doesn't seem that interesting to me. With luck, MK9 will see a Wii-U release. Hopefully without the X-ray glitch.

As great 3rd party support as the PS3 and 360 though? Forgive me if I'm somewhat skeptical about it after years of seeing shit 3rd party games that have been on the regular Wii. I hope you're right though. Regardless, the 1st party games alone are still enough reason for me to get a new Ninty console as they've always been, but I hope they're not the only reason for me to get one again like it was for the regular Wii. I miss the Nintendo 3rd party support that the Gamecube, N64, and everything before the Wii had, so if the Wii U has that, that'll be excellent.

With how big a Nintendo fan/supporter Ed Boon is too, that's certainly a pretty likely possibility. The way he did MK Armageddon on the Wii at least made it slightly more playable with the Wiimote, so an MK9 on the Wii U would be even sweeter, control-wise. And if it has an exclusive character or something, that could possibly be enough for me to warrant getting it on the Wii U too, despite already have it on one system. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I can't imagine a Nintendo character they'd allow to be dismembered on screen. mmm Though they allowed Link to be impaled and have his arms broken and stuff in SC2, so who knows. It'd be weird to watch him fatality someone though. Weird and AWESOME.

Ganondorf is my real hope, though. That'd be manly, and believable when he tore someone's spine out.

Sweet, if nintendo does get mk down the line with a guest character namely Dorf I will be playing it at Screampaste's house. You heard it here first.

They need to have Mario power stomping bitches for the brutality.

What about Mario's x-ray though?

And ๐Ÿ˜† @ the last post. Agreed on the Ganondorf part too.

Mario's X-Ray would obviously have to be force-feeding people fireballs and scorching their insides, followed by a tongue-rip.

Edit: So, why is it always me who gets crack-shipped, anyway?

It's a Wonderful Life is a great movie. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

His X-Ray would be the coin popper. A leaping uppercut straight to the jaw, showing the bone completely shattering, and it would be followed up by a "Toasty!" and the coin blip. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just saw the X-Ray attacks in MK9. Didn't know they were multi-hit, so now I'm gonna revise my earlier Mario X-Ray.

Starts with the uppercut, he follows them up into the air, stomps them back down on the ground, showing the ribs crunching, then pulls them up and shoves a fireball in their gut a la Smash attack.

This Game is freaking fun.

If you guys are every with a group of friends, you should play it. I had a substitute teacher who had us play it once, for his own amusement of course, and it was entertaining as hell. Especially if you're a Werewolf.

Ahh, Werewolf. Fond memories, that. ๐Ÿ™‚

I remember once betraying my fellow werewolf just to gain everyone's trust. And then, right before the final night I revealed myself. Complete with an evil laugh. Felt awesome. evillaugh

Peach's current sig/avy layout is pretty awesome. mmm

At ACen, we prefer the version called "Do You Worship Cthulhu?"

Same setup, only with two Worshippers, two Seers, two Protectors, one Vigilante, and the rest Villagers. Everyone drums their hands on the table (to cover the sounds of people sitting up and shifting around), and the Protector round is added, where the Protectors can choose someone to keep safe from sacrifice, if they choose the correct one, then the Vigilante, where he kills someone hopefully in the name of good.

With a good storyteller, it's an amazing and often hilarious game. One notable round had the Worshippers kill both Seers, the Vigilante kill a Protector, and then the Villagers lynched the other Protector. That round did not end well.

And that one where I figured out you were the Worshipper because you moved while choosing who to kill but everyone decided to kill me instead? Bastard ๐Ÿ˜›

But yes, Do You Worship Cthulhu is ****ing awesome and I wish we'd gotten a chance to play this year.

Why thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

You're welcome. mmm

It helps that this may be the most attractive Zelda to have appeared, IMO. ๐Ÿ˜›

I really, really like this design for her. It's like a cross between classic Zelda and Malon, so yeah <3

That sounds cool. But you must have had a butt ton of people to have two of everything! Whenever I've played, there was typically only one Seer and Protector.

We did have one awesome twist where a new type of character was added: The Megalomaniac. The character picks someone on like the second night and becomes whatever the person they picked was. In our game, she became a Werewolf. And was actually the last survivor along with me.

And yeah, these games can be really funny if you've got a decent storyteller/moderator. Shame I never really got to play with the Vigilante character. There was a card for him but he was never used for one reason or another.

But yeah, fun game. There an online version of it? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Edit:And yes, this Zelda is the prettiest. Might have something to do with the graphics and the absent weird face that the TP one had. ๐Ÿ˜›
