Marowak is my 6th Ranger. And I actually made a somewhat cool story with him. Basically I got his experience to just the right mark and then used him to defeat the Ghost of his mother, so that finally after setting her soul free, he could grow up into the Marowak he was born to me.
I teared up a bit myself.

Not so much a dumbass as he was completely ruled by his emotions. If you let him live, you get to learn why he hates the Orlesians as such : D
And as for the Grey Wardens, his paranoia about them apparently stems from an event in one of the Dragon Age books.
A guy who is so overly paranoid and that overemotional that he would destroy a sizable chunk of his own army, kill his best friends son (and King) and try to wipe out the best hope of fighting the darkspawn in Fereldon just because of the mere possiblity that Orlais might invade is a moron in my book.
Especially given that his actions would certainly weaken the country as a whole and make it much easier for the Orlesians to kick his shit in.
Plus since Anora pretty much ran the show by all indications, he could have just gotten her to tell the Orlesians to piss off.

Emotional BS or not, attempting to go to war against a country who has allied with you while there's a horde of man eating monsters knocking at your doorstep does make you a dumbass.
One of those books is just silly. Flemeth told Cailan what Loghain will do in the future but doesn't do anything to prevent it 'cause he'll face consequences if he does. If I were him, I'd say screw it. If I'm gonna die either way, I might as well go with the one option that takes the racist prick with me.
Loghain was a great man. He believed in what he did as the appropriate course of action for Ferelden. I won't sit around and let anyone bash the greatest character in all of dragon age lightly. The boy king was foolish though to think the darkspawn were so easily going to be conquered. Not saying he deserved to be abandoned but you know.
Besides that have you come around to accept or just pass. If you pass I will drop it unless someone else contacts me because at this point I don't even think the star wars faithful believe in Sidious over Voldemort.
