No because the ability would be canon, just not the mechanic which I have said all along. Theres no "ignoring intension", your the one bringing it up, developers dont want "you" the player to use it without limits though because that would be overpowered although i am certain if any connection to charging the reaver was canon, one of the characters would mension it in the several games its present in.
