I always knew Nintendo was evil. Oh and EA and Sony.

Well Apple didn't join in the fun, does that mean they're good?

Yes.

Apple customers are the chosen people.

I find it kind of funny that Zippo is supporting this whole thing.

Didn't know you could pirate lighters online.

I think that we need to stop calling Black people black, and begin calling them all Redguards.

so much to say, too much banning to say it.

@"rich republicans" comment

here's something that's not a surprise at all, congressional members of both parties are ridiculously rich.

If republicans need rich people to stay rich in order to keep office, then it follows that democrats need poor people to stay poor in order to stay in office

@jobs bill

LOL spending cuts of 400 billion over 10 YEARS

that's a cool story bro, considering we spend several trillion each year. It's a nice sentiment really but it's a drop in the bucket compared to what really needs to happen. both sides could support this bill or not and I doubt it would make a bit of difference.

Honestly I would need to read the entire bill to really get a feel for it. I'm wondering why no one wants to cut "defense" spending?

The two main ways to start getting the economy back in shape:

1) eliminate the Federal Reserve
2) stop the subsidizing of corporations(and banks) by the US government

So my friend is trying to argue that the Twilight series is not objectively bad.

Thoughts?

He/She is objectively wrong.

It is a she. And I agree.

The vast majority of our politicians are corrupt/dishonest/don't give two shits about anyone but themselves/populist. The very few that are any good are usually non-party. I don't give a rat's ass which party I am voting for. I vote for the one that has the least crooks, assholes, etc. in it at the time... or sometimes don't vote at all. **** them all.

my views should not be shared in a general forum... however I pretty much agree with what you're saying. congress, political parties, etc, is a very large cluster**** in the US right now.

And to think people criticize Obama for not being able to get any shit done, when they (republicans) are most likely the ones who keep him from being able to get anything passed in the first place... lol The opposing party seems to be focusing much more on being the opposite of Obama in terms of policies and such than they are on actually fixing/improving the economy itself..

That's sad.

On a political forum I frequent I saw someone put it best - the GOP is willing to keep millions out of work to put one man out of a job.

I'm not from the US, but glad to see someone who agrees.

I don't affiliate with either party, because frankly both extremes are the wrong way to go about things. The system used to work, but these days I earnestly wish for some sort of reset button.

See, and to me, the left in this country is way too far right.

Agree with needing a reset button though.

Of course they'd support it. Big media, etc.

Regardless of how much or how little an effect the jobs bill were to have, I kinda agree with those two listed ways as a better alternative, if anything.

Mostly agree with what AG said too.

So brilliantly said (no sarcasm intended)... I'll keep that statement in mind because of how true it is.. wow.

Maybe the Independent Party's the way to go? 😛
