"Easern Europe sans Russia and its satellite slave states" is practically non-existent? That's what it is: former USSR slave states, unless you (wrongly) consider the Nordic countries to be a part of Eastern Europe. Yeah, those are better off than virtually anyone else in the world.

I live in one of those former USSR slave states and quite a lot of people here don't make more than 3000$ a year, some don't even make the declared minimum wage. Suicide rates here are currently the highest on the planet and I believe we've set the all-time world-wide suicide record in the past. Yep, I'm so glad I live in this awesome "socialist wonderland."

My point was that Russia sucks dick and so it's satellite slave states probably aren't much better off, hence the "sans". Going off what you say, it seems I'm right. I was referring to those "nordic" states, and you're right, they geographically shouldn't be considered "eastern europe".

I just consider everything past France and the UK "eastern europe". 😐

Out of curiosity, which Russian satellite shithole do you live in? I'm not very good with the names, beyond the famous ones.

Lithuania. It technically wasn't an USSR Satellite state as it was annexed completely. Some consider it to be a part of Northern Europe, but it's only correct from a purely geographical standpoint. Basically, Eastern Bloc.
