Nice but rather pointless. ๐I'm well aware. I'm also well aware that as far as carrying on in a hopeless situation is concerned, Sakura did it first. And without needing Naruto's pep talk.
You're not seriously trying to attach Sakura's attempt to prove herself to Sasuke while in a discussion concerning Hinata
of all people are you? Granted, we do see Sakura training, which is more than can be said for Hinata, who we really are only told is training really hard.Sort of was but are you saying bad thoughts are okay so long as they're not public? Also on that same page, lo and behold Sakura is not treating Naruto like garbage. See, Sakura does treat Sasuke better than Naruto and does condescend him. But she really does acknowledge Naruto, want him to succeed, and does care about him.
In this particular test, yes. It was never addressed so this is all an assumption on my part, but a test where the importance of information is one of the main points of the test, giving away your information to what is for all intents and purposes an enemy is not a good thing. Ibiki would punish her more likely than not, all the while wondering what kind of ninja gives away info to someone they like. :3
Yep, between Hinata's situation and Sakura's, Sakura was definitely the one that involved the most fawning. Why, I remember her declaration of love was most heartbreaking. Sakura truly was head over heels in love with Sasuke, not thinking of him as a fellow ninja at all, and she was clearly unable to see that it wasn't the time to confess your feelings.
Hey wait a minute!
She wouldn't have. But, Sakura would never have been able to dodge Gaara, whom Sasuke barely dodged. She had no chance whatsoever of escaping.
Kiba would probably say yes. awesome
But yeah, you've yet to prove why she is a bad teammate. Does she favor Sasuke? Yep. Does Kakashi favor Sasuke? Yep. Does Naruto favor Sakura over Sasuke? Yep. Clearly the only good person on Team 7 was Sasuke!
I don't like her but she isn't in the bottom ten. A certain scene managed to knock her out of that.
But I will win this. Sakura is the better character by virtue of being a fleshed out character. Hinata really isn't.
You're right Sakura did it first. Since it was at the next part of the exams we see that Flash back to before the exams began... Oh wait, which way does time go?
I am saying Hinata doesn't need Naruto present. Yes ๐ Hinata believes in what Naruto says, that a person can change. She strives to achieve this as she believes Naruto has. Sakura just wanted to impress Sasuke. The difference is depth. This is something not many people seem to get but Hinata doesn't train sololy to get Naruto to notice her. It's not even the main reason. She legitimately wants to change, and it's really that simple. She's not so shallow even at this early point to want to do something for someone else. It is for herself predominately.
Not it wasn't, not even close =\ And I'm not trying to argue Hinata is a better person than Sakura which that would fall under =\ Having a less than completely supportive thought doesn't make you a bad team mate. I can't even fathom the logic behind why it would. If it helps i can list all the times Sakura both thought and then actually acted upon Not supporting Naruto.... but really straw clutching much =p
Except in this circumstance, no he wouldn't and you're giving a 'what if' not an actual occurance. Give it up =p
So yeah.... which way does time go because I'm pretty such Hinata confesses her love after this and Sakura had 'confessed' to Sakura like at the start of the series.
If she had saw Sasuke in the state he was and assessed the situation she might've actually done something instead of sitting beside him in the open.... I'm just saying, basic ninja training might kick in or something.... maybe common sense...?
Kiba.... ? Lol what the hell
Naruto's relationship with Sasuke was very different to the one he had with Sakura. They pushed each other harder than Sakura ever could have.
Kakashi trained Sasuke that One freakin time because he also had the sharingan and they shared elemental affinities. Kakshi haters jump on this all the time and it's frankly a boring idea that Kakashi hates Naruto and mistreats him =\ Naruto is the fourth's Legacy, and Kakashi loved the fourth.
You want to keep going that's fine. But You are losing this pretty badly thus far.... time to bust a move if you've got one. I'll not dance around the straws you've been clinging to like in this post =P

I'm not sure what you're talking about here to be honest. o.O

Except, she really does. This is what Hinata looked like before the pep talk. And this is what she looked like after it. And this is why Hinata didn't want to lose. Did she want to become stronger? Sure, I suppose. But Sasuke has never been so important to Sakura. Sakura really does want to get stronger so she will be better, for herself and the team that she loves. Both of them. To argue Hinata has more depth is quaint but not really supported. At best, she truly wants to prove to herself that she can do it. At worst, she is doing it to impress N-naruto-kun. In reality, it is both.

Indeed. What you're trying to do is argue that Sakura is objectively a bad teammate. False but whatever. The reason you like Hinata more apparently because Hinata has more heart...I guess. Wrong mind you but that's what I think you mean.

Indeed. We can only assume that is what would have happened. Naruto would certainly have failed though had he cheated. "Sorry N-Naruto-kun..."

I was making fun. Sakura doesn't really announce that she loves Sasuke until he is about to leave the village(not posting cause the scan is odd).

She was assessing the situation. She however had no way of dodging Gaara's attack though.

It's a joke.
Indeed. But Naruto did prefer Sakura over Sasuke in the same way Sakura preferred Sasuke over Naruto. However, no one in Team 7 really hated one another after the Land of Waves arc.
Indeed, which is more than Kakashi ever trained Naruto pre-timeskip. Did Kakashi have his reasons? Yep. Was he still showing favoritism? Yep. Why he didn't train them both is beyond me. But I've never said Kakashi loved either of his students more than the other. Sasuke was his favorite though.

Nah. To quote Sasuke, I enjoy this. Granted, I don't see how I'm really losing. Objectively, Sakura isn't a bad teammate and objectively she has more heart than Hinata. Which is really not Hinata's fault. She simply will not be able to compete with the main female protagonist.
Mind you, in debates I've heard that it is the one who brings the most evidence who is winning...

mmmI had never looked at it like that. It reminds me of the idiot Jedi from the prequel movies.
Which Jedi again?
It was pretty stupid of him to leave a ninja who had the same eyes as the Sage of the Six Paths, to his own machinations. I'm pretty sure Nagato would never have become Pain had Jiraiya stayed with them.

In debates, you have judges who decides who wins based on whose argument is better constructed & more convincing. I would nominate myself as a judge, but I'm pretty sure bias would kick in. ๐

The Council.
Windu: "Oh shit! This kid has the potential to be the single strongest person in the galaxy! We should start training him immediately!"
Qui Gon: "Yes master. This boy has lived 10 long years with this bottled up potential but I believe that with-"
Windu: "Mother ****er why didn't you tell us that to start with? 10!? Shit, we can't train him now. Throw him outside, I'm sure some stray Sith will pick him up."
To be fair, Nagato would be hesitant to actually go with Jiraiya to Konoha. But since Jiraya travels it shouldn't be a problem.
Well I don't know anyone who can judge unbiasedly based on this particularly topic. ๐

Ah okay, good. (I can picture Samuel Jackson saying what you typed at the end ๐ )
For some reason, I couldn't tell if you were talking about the moronic Council or Anakin, who became an idiot in RotS thanks to the Council.
Maybe, but the guy did love Jiraiya. With Jiraiya and Sarutobi preaching love and understanding, Nagato would have eventually come to forgive Konoha. His conversation with Naruto after their fight proves that much.
He would have also been a major asset to Konoha in case of a War, on par with a Kyuubi Jinchuurikii like Mito. vin
True.
Just kiss and make up with EA, for the sake of judges everywhere.

All that showed me was that even Guy's arsehole is tough enough to tank a shuriken bigger than himself.

You seem to be under the impression Hinata wasn't trying before that match.... maybe you need to clarify what you're talking about. I'm talking about effort when training. Hinata was trying long before that match. You might want to make sure we're on the same page before going off like that =s
Well so far you've not given much proof otherwise. You're really just going off topic and saying 'wrong' without actual reasoning to support =p
What if's are bad at the best of times, this example doesn't even make proper sense, or add to what I thought we were talking about =\
I thought she said it when it was really Naruto? All I want is your recognition or something like that...? No?
LOL, Bollocks was she!
'Sakura-chan?..... Sakura-Chan?........SAKURA-CHAN?!'
'WHAT?!'
Very switched on and alert.... clearly!
Yeah but Naruto was the nice one to her, Sasuke was the ass. They were Both asses to Naruto generally so.... not sure if you can make that point.
He acquired the help of an elite trainer for Naruto yet that's showing favouritism? The Elite Trainer who is far better at teaching something like Basic Chakra Control than Kakashi is.... but yeah, favouritism. And that's just a load of crap. Sasuke required a more personal touch. Naruto required more basic training, one Better provided by that... Ebisu or whatever he's called. It should be obvious by now Naruto being who he is means the World to Kakashi =\
Posting scans everywhere doesn't mean much. You're losing because I'm finishing more points than you are and nailing your ass on most everything else without resorting to an irrelevant point. Plus I just know because I've heard everything you've said before and I already have an answer for it which I've yet to see proper retorts for. So yeah =3 I win =D
Dr. Eggman vs. Dr. Wily. Who would win? Here's your answer:

He took the attack arsehole first to show that 'ha! even the most sensitive areas of me are >>>>> YOU!' duh.
and those two are TL;DR'ing me. Don't know what they are talking about even.

Or he took it arsehole first to show that only his arsehole is significantly more durable than a shuriken. uhuh
You and your stealth edits. Didn't get this statement the first time.
Just declare one of them the winRAR.
