Well he still breathes, it is just that he does not require air to stay conscious or stay alive. Same way he still drinks beer and eats. He doesn't need to.

As for Juggernaut falling, it should be hard for Hulk to knock a 900 lb. guy on the ground.

But why does he if he doesn't need to?

As MB pointed out in the post above maybe he does it out of habit, after all he doesn't need to eat, drink or sleep either but I have seen him eating and drinking.

"winded" though to me suggests that getting the air knocked out of him meant he needed time to recover, he wouldn't need that if he didn't require the air he would just get straight back up.

So if the writer wanted us to think he needed time to recover it should = PIS.

Or maybe he didn't and that was a snapshot of a second in time?

Exactly, so Hulk knocked DOWN Juggs isn't really all that big of a thing.
depends which juggs. if it was 8th day yah that would be amazing but classis juggy. no big deal. neither big deal him holding hulk.

Well for one thing you need to breathe in air to talk. And he is the HUMAN Juggernaut, plus like the other poster said, out of habit.

My point exactley!

I think Spidey_dude was refering to you typing "should" when it was quite clear to me you meant "shouldn't" so didn't point out the typo. 😉

No not really that Juggernaut still only weighed 900 lbs. So it would be no difference. You must be confusing Juggs with the Blob.

Hmm at the same time though he is an avatar too, I mean surfer talks in space as do other characters who can survive in a vaccum and their is no air there.

I mean when Cain became Juggernaut, did he strictly stay human?

even though juggy is stronger blob would still be harder to knock down or even move an inch. that was my point back there

Edit: Misread your post, not sure what you are trying to get at.

I think hes refering to Blobs ability to become "immovable" so knocking him off his feet is hard when they are rooted to the floor.

I knew that, but it seems he is making a big deal out of Juggernaut getting knocked off his feet. So I said he might be confusing the two of them.

Ahh, I read it the other way and he was saying that knocking Blob down is a bigger deal than Juggs which isn't.

Nah, Cain doesn't need air to function. At least twice he's walked across the floor of an ocean to get someplace and Spidey did bury him in cement once too!

Actually, Blob weighs less than Juggernaut.

According to Marvel.com

Blob: Weight (Originally) 510 lbs.; (currently) 210 lbs.

Juggernaut: Weight 900 lbs.

But is seems like, from your posts, that you think it is hard to knock Juggy off his feet. So I said you must be confusing the two's power set. If Blob makes himself "unmovable" Hulk is going to have a hard time moving him or knocking him over, which is a decent feat. But knocking Juggs over isn't.

Blobs ability doesnt have to do with his weight, he alters gravity so hes stuck to the ground hes on

juggernaut can be hurt physically, and has been, there's scans on these forums. juggernaut was also physically busted up and KTFO'd by onslaught.

too bad WWH could not Hurt Juggernaut and he(hulk) was the busted one

For some reason WWH seems to be able to be injured easier than usual. Wolverine was cutting him like butter. I am sure Juggernaut could harm him.
and He did... 😉 he busted Hulk's mouth

juggernaut doesn't stand a chance in hell against WWH, too much pace, agility, intelligence, tactical skills, power, endurance, stamina... "classic" juggernaut has nothing on him, absolutely nothing.

It should have been apparent from the World War Hulk storyline itself that WWH was holding back and wasn't looking for a fight, and he still managed to stalemate Juggernaut in a brief tussle that never truly escalated (the type of fight that Hulk excels in). Subsequent storylines only hammered that point home to such a degree that should be inarguable.

WWH would take it.

Juggernaut at full power would win imo.

But that was still an Emo-Juggernaut that just got his power back. Classic Juggernaut wouldn't have stopped, he wouldn't have cared if the whole place collapsed and killed everyone.
Also Juggernaut's power is from Cyttorak, the magic is what fuels Juggernaut. If the Hulk did manage to get so mad he stomped Juggernaut's head into paste, the magic would heal him instantly and he would be back up 100% and keep going. Juggernaut was reduced to a skeleton once and he was still fighting.
