Probably one of surfers highest feats, Surfer outpowering MEPHSITO, IN HIS OWN DIMENSION.

I noticed something about this feat. thanos says that the device is keyed to his power signature. Terms like "energy signature" also refer to the nature of the energy as well as its output. Now earlier in annihilation Phyla vell stated that thanos energy was too alien even for her negabands to manipulate. So in essence for surfer to match thanos power signature he had to have matched the nature and output of thanos energy which as explained by phyla were so alien in nature that the nega bands coudnt even manipulate them.
So this stands as an even more impressive feat because surfer had to produce an extremely alien type of energy as well as a very high output of it.
(hopefully this is a new piece of information and im not just ranting 🤺 )

What actually happened in that instant is that Surfer merged w/ the Blackbody after it acquired the rest of his physical form...
Farther explained by Unilord himself after Surfer defeated him and absorbs the rest of his energies..
Once Surfer reunited with his board (Same board that the blackbody was fashioned/based from) he inherited the blackbody's powers and the energies it absorbs..
Nope.. there was never any mention of him unmerging with the Blackbody however Surfer did release the energies he absorbs from the Unilord in that space/time rapture...

The Unilord mentioned that it was the power of the blackbody and the power of the souls (the blackbody absorbs) combined w/ Surfer that defeated him.. Surfer release the the energies (soul) in the space/time rift to heal that universe rapture while going back to 616 universe.. Which means he still retain the power of blackbody, it make sense he inherited it, it has become a part of him..

The blackbody's where design by the Unilord to be an absorber of massive energies akin to a rechargeable batteries and to carry it to the annacis however this particular Blackbody Surfer was merge with is a little diff. It's also a designate guard for the Darkcouncil and it only listen to his command even against the Unilord himself...
In this arc Surfer was able to absorb a lot of energies without going postal, absorb soul energies, absorb direct blast and returned it a million x more potent, reformed after his atoms were scattered, destroyed a solar/star system with a blast, transformed soul to psi energies, more durable (only showed agaisnt energy projectile dough).. Now do bare in mind he had a lot of energies to play around with this feats..

Really what did the Blackbody amp even do? I mean i know it helped him absorb unilords energy but did it do anything else? as durability, strength etc?
On panel showings? Let's see it allowed him to directly absorb someones soul, he withstood a thousand fist pounding and each blow was stronger than one before without a scratch, before absorbing all the energies of Unilord he destroyed a solar or star system (that section was refered to as a star system in previous panel but it looks like only a handfull of planets say a dozen), withstood blast from the unilord, the healing feat(done it twice, once in that saga and the other in the revelation arc) his never done this kind of healing before only after that blackbody upgrade, and of course it increase his capacity to absorb energies.. thats all i gather from that ....
