Dragonball Z Vs. Naruto

Wow you think the art in dbz is better than Naruto? The animation for Naruto is so much better than dbz and the character designs, although thats a matter of opinion. The Naruto story/plot has so much more depth and explanation unlike dbz. Every dbz fight was the same and the winner was always decided by who could shoot bigger beams of energy. I loved dbz when I was younger, seen every episode read the manga and knew almost every thing back in the day but imo Naruto is just better in almost every way. Dbz will always be great and one of the best but I just like Naruto better, ask me the question three years ago I would have said different.

Also im ignoring the 5 episode power ups etc because they were mostly to drag out the story longer but it was still annoying as fuk.

The character desings in Naruto are bland, even when I liked the series they were bland. DBZ has more imaginative designs.

What do you mean by bland? I would say the exact same thing about dbz characters and the plot in general, I guess its just conflicting opinion.

It's boring, dead, and lacks variety. There is nothing special about it.

The character desing in DBZ is great, and isn't even comparable to naruto's. DBZ's plot isn't really special, but neither is Naruto lately.The characters just have more depth than that of DBZ, but it's still not amazing. 😬

Shippude nsucks, I agree. The plot is lame and they don't focus in the Rookie 9 anymore. They're just part of the background now. Even Sakura is ignored.

yeah,that's a little too blunt. A wide number of shows can be described as a watered down version of db with a better story. All you need are characters with powers and a story driven by fighting. Like scryed.

The shippuden anime sucks big time imo but the manga is great at the moment. Also sandai thats your opinion.

I don't get it, how can the Shippuden anime suck, and the manga doesn't? The anime is somewhat similar to the manga, considering they are both the same except in manga you have to read through the story, and in anime you can just watch it. I agree there is some parts of the anime that aren't the same to the manga, but what can I say? You can't have an anime copied EXACTLY the same to the manga. I mean come on, The anime is pretty decent similar to the manga.

I never said it wasnt similair, they are the exact same except one has moving pictures. I just hate it because they drag each chapter out for 23 mins so its this boring repetitive crap which needs 5 episodes to further the plot, at least the manga doesnt have crappy filler scenes that take up half the comic. They stand around doing nothing saying peoples names and making funny noises. They should really try and fit 2 manga chapters in to the one episode as its just boring as hell watching 4 episodes of naruto chase deidara telling him to give gaara back about 50 times in the space of an episode. Also the animation is no where near as good as it used to be, fights just seem hastily animated and slow.

There's alot of reasons why the anime has fillers, you think in the anime they would just get on with the repititive crap for no reason? I think it has a reason, I think they have the fillers to keep the audience more into the show, and that makes it more suspenseful, giving the audience wanting to watch more of it, that's where the fillers come in, which wouldn't give out the whole plot into one episode or one chapter for example.

They both have their problems. I swing back and forth depending on my mood. DBZ takes so long to power up but I dont need to hear background about everyone and their mother like Naruto. As far as fights seens go it depends. DBZ's problem was already mensioned above with the repeat slides and delays of powering up. Narutos problem stems with their pase also. I dont need to see two punches thrown and then a ten minute background story follwed by two more punches thrown. The difference however is that Naruto is more unpredictable than DBZ. In DBZ everyone new Goku would come and save the day. In Naruto there is no perfect fighter, conflicting styles make it interesting.

Anyway I hope orochimaru is not dead, that would suck. Hopefully he pulls a liquid snake and starts taking over Kabutos body.

Sorry to hear that buddy, Anyways Do you know where I can find english version of the manga for shippuden? I'm having trouble finding them..I'd really appriciate if you can help me. 🙂

Yea this site has every manga uploaded but when the new chapters come out it usualy is hard to load pages. Youtube has them as well although I dont know how far back it goes.
