Dragonball Z Vs. Naruto

In my opinion, Dragonball is better than both naruto and DragonballZ. the saiyan/namek/frieza saga was great and then things started to roll downhill. Cell saga was not bad, but it wasn't as good as the frieza saga until the tournament, which happened way too late. We always knew Gohan was a beast and it was nice to see him completely pwn someone. That is where it should have ended, with Gohan picking up his fathers mantle. Then, there was the Buu saga, the worst of them all. As a villain, I like buu, I really do, but the story sucked hard, and when gohan released all his potential what happened? Goku and Vegeta quickly rose above him. Kids were going supersaiyan like it was nothing.Favorite old character just weren't of any use anymore and did I mention GREAT SAYAMAN! It was all crap. Naruto's plot drags sometimes and most of the fights just arn't as epic as DBZs, but normally there are good fights with an increasingly awesome plot(akatsuki pretty much saved the entire story) although I do believe there are too many characters than can be developed, and when there is a fight of major epicness it is a sight to behold, so I'm going to say Naruot because it's overall more stable.

Pretty much my opinion as well.

Buu was an awesome concept for a villain , but the story itself just went down the pan.

DBZ is a much better show and its characters would annihilate Naruto's easily.

thank you. krillin can take this easily and before you go OH NO HE DIDNT. lemme explain. krillin got stronger by the end of the series. we can def say stronger than piccolo in the saiyan saga(where vegeta and nappa attack). piccolo could destroy the moon. since krillins stronger than that, he wins by himself. easily man easily

I like DBZ better but Naruto is still Bada$$. Along with Death Note and Blood+ they are My favorite Anime.

going 2 beat the main villan the main so i guess every show whith a main hero is repeative like yu yu hakusho inuysha naruto outlaw star
gundam wing, g gundam zoids zoids chaotic century i came name a whol lot more if u want me 2

Gohan never beat Broly. And alot of things you said were noncanon.

Dbz was the best when I was 12.

I am assuming majority of these people voting are around the age of 13 or 14. DBZ went down hill after the Android Saga. Buu Saga was crap altogether. Not only were there too many forms, but they drug the damn thing out entirely too long. If they would have stopped after the Cell saga, I would have considered it one of the best animes of all time, but they ruined it in the end. Naruto Owns.

😄

IMO:

Dragon Ball >>>> Dragon Ball Z >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Naruto >>>>>>>>> Dragon Ball GT 😛

While I do still like Naruto, it doesn't come close to Dragon Ball, or Dragon Ball Z to me, which are just plain classic in my eyes. And, as far as DBZ goes, even though its highly repetitive, with over the top fights, no depth to its story line, and repeated animations, it was still my very first anime, and in fact, its what got me into anime in the first place. Dragon Ball also inspired many other fighting/action based shounen series. I mean, its easy to see the influence of Dragon Ball in all of the popular action shounen out there, and a lot of the newer ones, such as Bleach and Naruto, owe a lot to older classic anime such as Dragon Ball.

As far as Naruto goes, I do still read it, but it has been going dowhhill for me. I really don't like part 2 that much, but I do still like Naruto part 1. Even then, Naruto, overall, is just an average shounen to me. And one thing I can't stand about it, is how seriously overrated it is. I mean, I wouldn't mind it so much, if it didn't have all those annoying fanboys/narutards (not to say that there is anything wrong to be a fan of the show, but I just dislike how it has way too many overly-obsessed fans, who take their fandoms for it too far).

Well, that's all just my opinion anyways.

If you're implying that only younger people would be fans of DBZ, then let me point out that the same can be said for Naruto. I mean, their both shounen, and neither of them are really that mature. I mean, for all the things that are childish about DBZ, I can find just as many that are childish and annoying about Naruto. Besides, both shows have a fans of all kinds of ages, so I'm not sure what makes you think that the DBZ fans here must only be around the ages of 13-14.

I wouldn't say that either series "owns." While I do agree with you that DBZ went downhill during the Buu saga, I still can't help but see it as a classic (even thoguh I must admit that the Buu saga was indeed "crap"😉. However, Naruto, for me, has gone downhill, and has been continuing down that path for awhile now. I must say that I have been rather bored with the manga, for most of Naruto part 2, and its just getting way too much hype. I mean, so far, I haven't seen too many things that I consider spectacular, or extraordinary, within Naruto. To me, its just been average, in terms of shounen, so far, and even though the story has been moving at a faster, more rushed pace, lately, I can't help but feel that the series has been dragging on for the last 75+ chapters.

Of course, that's just my opinion, so don't go flaming me for expressing it 😛 .

Right, cause Naruto is much more mature. 🙄

I do agree, the Buu saga had much to be desired.

Soz hard man I must have missed the part where I said it was. Only reasons people have for dbz being the best is its, classic, it lead the way for anime in the west, TEHY IS MORE POWERFULZ!!11!. Dbz is plain boring, I loved it when I was 12 but now you couldnt pay me to watch the whole thing again.

im 13 i could watch dbz all day and never get bored

Thank you for proving my point. I would love to know if any of the die hard dbz fans are over 16.

I'm no longer a "die-hard" DBZ fan, but I am still a fan of the series, and I'm 18 😛 .

Also, IMO, Naruto has been really boring for the last 75+ chapters. And even then, it was never that great to begin with, and has plenty of parts that bore me. For instance, I don't see why we need to see the pasts for just about every single character who makes an appearance in the series, even the minor ones who get offed not too long after they make an introduction 🙄 .
