And seriously, what's up with the rebound guys? In this movie while Bruce is hiding away Betty gets with the psychiatrist and they're all happy and in love and stuff and then Bruce comes back and the psychiatrist gets dissed instantly.

I was kind of annoyed by that, too. I know Bruce and Betty are "supposed" to be together but she practically ran over Doc Sampson in the pizza place. And then he was so cool about being ditched so fast that I ended up liking him more than anyone else. Even more than the General's mustache or Blonsky.

I saw it yesterday night.
My vote is an 8, tough there were some things I didn't liked in this portrayal of Hulk.
1.Physical Strength
He performed a ground smash during the battle with the Abomination, but I expected it to be more devastating, like the whole street crumbling under Blonsky's feet and have him stucked under tons of debris, yes it granted the Hulk the chance to beat Blonsky, but it should have been more Hulk-like in the effects. Also Hulk had problems lifting the H1 of the U.S. Army, while in Ang Lee's versione he threw away a tank which weight was 60 tons without much effort. His high-dev leg muscle also grant him leaping abilities, but in this movie he swinged from walls and obstacles like Spider-Man and he never performed a real super-jump, which is a Hulk signature way of transport. The shockwave caused from he and Abomination slamming each other in the beginning of the fight was ok, but that's it, I mean it should have make walls collapse.
2.Healing Abilities
It's ok to me that Hulk have some scars after the battle with the Army and also injuries caused from Blonsky cause he was his equal, even superior to him in most of the fight. But he showed no sign of his outstanding healing factor.
3.Speed
Not expecting to see him outrun helicopters like in the first one, but this time, he has issues following Blonsky, which was just at peak human level in their 2nd round in the campus.
Despite this, the movie was great, Banner's struggle, Hulk speaking, and the tie-in with Cap's future movie, Iron Man, the SHIELD tracking the email to Sam Stern, the future Leader. And also Tim Roth's Blonsky/Abomination was great. In the fight which was hella cool, he beat the crap outta Hulk, which was still under the effects of the "cure" created by Stern and Banner but was still showing his own, but after being smacked with a police car used like a brass knuckle, he spit and sayed: IS THAT ALL YOU GOT???And threw Hulk away like a puppet through like 3 buildings.I also loved Ross realizing Banner was the only one that could save them and telling his soldier to aid him with the

machinegun. And I loved when Hulk tossed Blonsky at Ross like to say: Take back your henchman.Or when Blonsky heard Hulk's roar and sayed: Hulk??And started chasing him.GIVE ME A REAL FIGHT!!!He was the most badass villain in a comic book movie. Also William Hurt portrayal of Gen. Ross was great, his grudge against both Banner and Hulk, and the way he guided his troops trying to use everything he had to take him down.
Also I will never forget the scene were Banner performs the hitchiker move like in the TV Show with Bixby.

I thought W Hurts Ross was no good. He had no redeeming features at all. The Ross in the comics and in Ang Lee movie are trying to do the right thing but going about it wrong. So to be fair W Hurt didn't play it badly it was written badly or not to my liking

I did miss the 300 mph running from the Ang Lee. I thought this was really cool. I have always thought that Hulk could run fast but it is rarely shown in comics. He can virtually leap into orbit which would require a speed of about 20,000 mph so why can't he run fast.
The new hulk movie looks like he would struggle to run 30 mph

they wanted to depower him a bit so the last fight wouldn't look like Dragon ball Z on steoids... literaly

Tep should have been at least class 50

This hulk would have had a hard time against Sam Raimi's Spider man and I think he would have been beaten by movie Thing.

The iron man movie is also somewhat depowered in terms of physical strength but it is early days for him as he will continue to develop the suit

The movie Juggernaut was a joke (why the hell did they cast Vinnie Jones??)

Although I liked the rendering of the new hulk loads I thought his feet looked a bit big (bodes well for Mrs Hulk of course)

I don't think Blonsky was just "peak human". Did you see him haulin' it past those soldiers? He was flooring it.

Yeah, K3evil is talking about having them do overpowering stuff, which would've made the fight boring. It was good as is. Also, severance, if you think this movie Hulk would have a hard time against Spider-Man, then you aren't very smart.

ooh you hurt my feelings baby

the letterer hulk at best is class 20 no where near as fast as Spiderman. So there is not much in it in terms of strength and the spiderman is the better fighter. So yes he will have a hard time. This hulks advantages are his invulnerability and maybe the sonic clap.

So, tell me, how is Spider-Man going to beat the Hulk? Spider-Man is a class 10, so he punches won't do anything. And if the Hulk isn't able to hit him, he'll just get angry, making him more determined & stronger. There's no way Spider-Man can win unless he waits for the Hulk to calm down, which he wouldn't do. Spider-Man would get thrashed, and you have no proof he'd win.

I did not say that Spider man would win. Read fully and comprehend before commenting 😉

Overpowering?Hulk is a top tier in the MU, and the Abomination is a top tier, so why is wrong expecting them to do what they did in the comics?Ang Lee's Hulk in terms of superpoweres was more in line with the comic books.

Most versions of Hulk would have a hard time against Spidey. He's very quick and very tricky. Which would make him very annoying to fight.

Yes, but you implied it. It is you who needs to learn how to comprehend and learn proper grammar, good sir. 😉

My statement in no way implies a Spider man victory it but I'm not gonna convince you of that Fixit - so peace to you

Whatever.

So, for those of you who have seen the film, what direction do you think they should go in for the sequel?
