* please try to understand the concept, my friend... there is a tempter - the devil (Matthew 4:1-3) - the devil will try to tempt all people... but God wont let us be tempted beyond our strength (I Corinthians 10:13)... and if we endured the temptations, we will receive the crown of life (James 1:12)... which is the eternal life (Titus 1:2)... that's how loving and wise God is... he can turn the tables... 😉
The only tempter in ourselves; there is no force outside of ourselfs that is making us do things. This kind of thinking creates many of the evils of our world. If we could understand that we are truly alone in the universe, we might concrete treating each other better.

Both are true; There is no one out there, but God is inside of me and you and everything in the universe.

IF so then he had to get gods permission. Also since god is everywhere god is also in hell.
* God is NOT omnipresent... 😉
In Jeremiah 23:24 God declares, "Do I not fill heaven and earth?
"Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me" (Psalms 139:7-10).
"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have builded?" (1 Kings 8:27).
If God is present in the earth, then:
He is essentially present in all places

* let us read the context...
"Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD."
Jeremiah 23:23-24
* i hope you the point...

"Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens."
Psalms 123:1
* in the same book of Psalms... God is in the heavens...

* read the verse you gave, my friend... "will God indeed dwell on earth?" means God is NOT on earth... much less on the literal house which King Solomon had built... God is NOT there... where is God? let us read the proceeding verses...
"And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive."
I Kings 8:30
"Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, [even] thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men; )"
I King 8:39
"Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as [do] thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name."
I Kings 8:43
"Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,"
I Kings 8:49
* God is in heaven...

* let's go now to the New Testament...
"The God that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;"
Acts 17:24-25
* God does not dwell in temples made by human hands... why? insects create their own house, animals create theirs, humans also... of course, God can create His own house... where is He? let's ask His Son...
"After this manner therefore pray ye. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name."
Matthew 6:9
* you may have overlooked one of the most popular prayers in history... Jesus says there "our Father who art in heaven"... but what is omnipresent in God?
"The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good."
Proverbs 15:3
* God can see everything... 😉

So, you have spent years reading other books and documents that have finally lead you to the bible? I believe in the teachings of Buddha because he was a great teacher. I have also read the few words of Jesus, who was also a great teacher. I do not believe that Buddha or Nichiren, or Jesus was divine; just great teachers.

Some Buddhists are as delusional as everyone else. Buddha was not divine, but neither was Jesus in my opinion. I was once a Christian and I studied the bible with powerful dedication, but what others in the Church told me did not match what I saw in the bible, so I left and searched for years until I found the writings of Nichiren. I learned about Nam Myoho Renge Kyo and the ten worlds. The truth is self evident and no one needs blind faith.
